Born and raised on a farm in Kentucky, by the age of two I was already an accomplished athlete. I really became famous at 3 years old, but interestingly enough because of my losses, not wins. In fact, no one else in history has ever lost quite the way that I did that year. I am considered one of the best in my profession despite those 3 heartbreaking losses. In fact, many consider me to have more heart than most of the other athletes in my profession because in those 3 losses I never gave up trying to win. By the way, I am proof that size does NOT matter!

Now wait a minute – how many chances do you get on Who am I? Smitty did it earlier, too.
Chas says
I wasn’t sure about that myself, but I’m guessing the rule is that if you change your answer before someone else gets it right, it counts. But, also, if you change it from a correct to an incorrect answer, you’re out of luck. Am I right, Casey?
Casey says
An interesting question – considering the photo finishes we have had, I figured if someone managed to make two comments (an incorrect one and then a change) all the more power to him or her. As for the changing a correct answer – I hadn’t even thought of such a possibility. That would require a – “is that your final answer” – phase. I’d like to avoid such a thing. 🙂

Nice going Chas! Was the Man o’ War guess w/o research? Was Alydar researched? Man O’ War lost only ONCE, interestingly enough to a horse called Upset.
Chas says
That was a tough question. Man o’ War was a guess. For some reason, that name popped into my head. Then I looked at a list of HOF horses…an alphabetical list, but it was seeing the name Affirmed that reminded me of the rivalry.

Good researching. I’ll make the next one tougher.
