Who am I?

October 11, 2008 by Paul Gotham 3 Comments

I know a thing or two about the ‘Red River Shootout’ as I spent my college years donning the Sooner jersey. After being taken in the 2nd round of the NFL draft I enjoyed a 12-year career with two different clubs. Early on I established myself in the backfield with three 1,000 yard seasons on the ground. I averaged close to five yards per carry and over 70 yards per game during those seasons. I missed out on a fourth consecutive 1,000 yard campaign because injury kept me out of a pair of contests. Nonetheless I averaged over five yards per carry and 80 yards per game that year. Later in my career I specialized in punt returns – leading the league in yardage one season and returning one to the house. I played in five Pro Bowls – four in the 70s and one in the 80s.

I don’t have anywhere else to put this.. It is 1:37 in the morning and my night has been ruined by Mike Timlin.. Killed by Mike Timlin – has the sounds of the name of a band.

Good God, I refuse to watch him pitch EVER again.
