The 2026 Section V Class C1 Girls’ Basketball bracket features four teams from the Finger Lakes West Division and Genesee Region Division I, three from Livingston County Division II and Wayne County and one apiece from Private/Parochial and Steuben County. First-round matchups tip off on Wednesday, February 25 and the final for Class C1 will be played on Saturday, March 7 at FLCC.
Letchworth, after falling in the first round of the C1 playoffs last year have earned the top seed this postseason with a 19-1 record. The Legends enter the playoffs on a 13-game win streak. The back-to-back Class C1 champs Bloomfield boasted a 15-4 record this season to snatch the two-seed.
Earning the three-seed is Lyons, with a 16-4 record and is also the reigning Class B2 champion from last year. Canisteo-Greenwood holds down the fourth-seed at 18-2, winning 12 of their last 13 games by double-digits. Gananda locked down the fifth-seed after winning seven of its last eight games on the season. Here’s the breakdown:
