After two outs, Cannon was on third and scored on a dropped third strike as Dakota Carlin reached safely. Emilia Newell drew a walk in the next at bat and Cooley drove them both in to win the game. AnaSophia Cartagena ended with one hit and two RBI. Cartagena hurled in five innings with four strikeouts and earned the win. Newell closed out the last two innings. Bella Faticone, Rianne Maddaleno and Zoey Ras each had a hit in the win. Mattingly Krester, Maia Lawhorn, Claire Yates and Hailey Speed led Gates Chili with two hits and one RBI apiece. Annaliesse McGill hit a solo homer. Mackenzie Brown added two hits. Janita Carley had a single and Alexandra Lipinski tallied one RBI.
