How they arrived here: Keshequa topped Genesee Valley/Belfast (61-26), York (64-61), Oakfield-Alabama (49-43) and Canisteo-Greenwood (57-38) to reach the Far West Regional. Frewsburg topped Maple Grove (64-38), Randolph (61-38) and Wilson (53-33) to clinch a return to the state quarterfinals.

History 101: Keshequa is making its second straight and fourth overall regional appearance in program history. The Wildcats are looking for the program’s first win in the state quarterfinals. Keshequa lost to Chautauqua Lake in 2014 Panama in 2022 and Frewsburg in 2025. Frewsburg is making its third straight and seventh regional appearance since 2002. The Bears beat Dundee/Bradford in 2024 and Keshequa a year ago on the way to the NYS Class C title.
What’s at stake: A spot in the Class C state semi-finals against Delaware Academy (IV) or West Canada Valley (III).
