
One squad is looking to capture back-to-back titles after moving up to Class AA2, the other looks for its second championship in four years. For the second time this season, Pittsford Sutherland and Canandaigua will meet on the hardwood, this time for the Class AA2 title. Here’s the breakdown:

History 101: These two teams met once in the regular season with Pittsford Sutherland pulling out the 47-41 road win. Pittsford Sutherland is making its fifth straight title appearance and aims for back-to-back championships. A win would give the Knights their sixth in program history. Canandaigua is looking for its fifth sectional title. CA advanced to the NYS Class A championship game in 2023.
