History 101: Bishop Kearney is looking for its first sectional title since 2013, when the Kings also took home the NYS Class AA title. That championship ended a run of 13 titles in 20 years for the Kings. That was also the last time a BK team appeared in a sectional final. Greenwood took home four consecutive Class D titles from 1981-1984. Canisteo reached the Class C final in 2004 when they fell to HAC 72-55.
What’s at stake: A spot in the Class B Far West Regional Qualifier against either Le Roy or Mynderse.
