
This year’s Class B title matchup features two teams that have reached the big game in the last five years. Top-seeded Webster Schroeder is looking to reclaim Class B glory for the first time since 2023. No. 3 Aquinas is looking to change their fortunes after falling short in the 2022. How they arrived here: Webster Schroeder (No. 2 NYSSWA Division II) opened its sectional run with a 6-0 victory over No. 8 Churchville-Chili and then earned a 3-1 victory over No. 4 Irondequoit in the semifinals. Aquinas (No. 11 NYSSWA Division II) earned a 7-1 victory over No. 6 Canandaigua in the quarterfinals then collected a 4-3 victory over No. 2 and defending Class B champions Victor.

Trends: Webster Schroeder has not been beaten all-season long. They have averaged just shy of five goals per game this season. Aquinas has won three of its last four contests. They have scored four or more goals in all three victories.

History 101: Webster Schroeder is seeking its first Class B title since 2023. Aquinas is seeking its first sectional title since 1999 when they won the state tournament. The last time these two teams met was last season January 8, 2025 where the Warriors 6-3.
What’s next: The winner will move on to the 2026 NYSPHSAA quarterfinal on March 7.
