Jack Leasure Skills and Shooting Camp Girls’ Class B2 Sectional Preview

The 2026 Section V Class B2 Girls’ Basketball bracket features three teams from Wayne County, two apiece from Livingston County II and Genesee Region I along with one each from Finger Lakes East, Steuben County, Allegany County I and Section V Independent. First-round matchups tip off on Saturday, February 21 and the final two teams will meet on Wednesday, March 4 at Finger Lakes Community College.

Cuba-Rushford/Bolivar-Richburg enters Class B2 tournament as the No. 1 seed, finishing with a 14-6 record. The Rebels closed out the season winning three of their last four matchups. Marcus Whitman rolls in at the No. 2 seed for the second straight season with a 13-7 record, winning five of their last seven matchups. The Wildcats made it to the Class B2 final in 2025 before losing to Lyons.

No. 3 Avon joins the tournament at a 12-8 record, appearing after a quarterfinals loss against Le Roy in 2025. The River Hawks have won seven games by double-digits. No. 4 East Rochester closed out its season with three straight wins to finish with a 10-9 record. No. 5 Addison enters with a 10-9 record as well, claiming a 40-point victory to close out its season. A new champion will be crowned as Lyons, the reigning champs of Class B2, made the move to Class C1. Here’s the breakdown:

No. 8 Red Creek (7-13) @ No. 1 Cuba-Rushford/Bolivar-Richburg (14-6)

No. 7 Mynderse (8-13) @ No. 2 Marcus Whitman (13-7)

No. 6 Le Roy (11-10) @ No. 3 Avon (12-8)

No. 5 Addison (10-9) @ No. 4 East Rochester (10-9)
