
The 2026 Section V Class B2 Boys’ Basketball bracket features four teams from Wayne County, three from the Private-Parochial League, two each from Steuben County and Genesee Region I along one apiece from Livingston County Division II and Section V Independent. First round action tips off on Wednesday, Feb. 25 with 10 teams fighting for a spot in the quarterfinals. The B2 final will be held at Blue Cross Arena on March 6.
After falling in the quarterfinals of the B2 playoffs to East Rochester last year, Bishop Kearney/Chesterton enters the postseason this year as the top seed with a 17-3 record. The Kings have won four of their last five games coming into the tournament. Two-seed Canisteo-Greenwood is looking for its first sectional championship since 1984, coming into the tournament on a four-game winning streak.

Three-seed Charles G Finney, looking for its first sectional championship since 2019, enters the tournament on a four-game winning streak as well. Four-seed East Rochester looks to repeat as B2 champions after winning its first sectional title since 2012 in 2025. The Bombers enter the tournament winning 13 of their last 14 games.
