The 2026 Section V Class C2 Girls’ Basketball bracket has five teams from the Livingston County Division III, three from the Finger Lakes West, two from Allegany County Division I and Genesee County Division II, and one from Steuben County. First-round games start on Wednesday, February 25, and the final two teams in Class C2 will face off on Saturday, March 7 at FLCC.
The Class C2 reigning champs, Keshequa, have earned the top seed once again, with a 19-1 record. 17 of the Wildcats’ 19 wins have come by double-digits. Oakfield-Alabama earned the two-seed with a 20-0 record, which makes them the only team in Section V Girls’ Basketball with an undefeated record. Class D finalist from last year, Fillmore, who moved to Class C2 this season, holds the three-seed with a 16-3 record.

Can’t wait to watch some sectional games! Best time of the year.
Thanks for adding Fillmore and Perry girls to the scoring leader list! And thanks for the coverage of the small schools along with the large ones. Nice work.
