The 2026 Section V Class AA2 Girls’ Basketball bracket features four teams from Monroe County Division III, two teams from Monroe County Division two, one team from Monroe County Division IV, and one team from the Rochester City Athletic Conference.

Pittsford Sutherland (No. 2 NYSSWA Class AA) is the number one seed in the bracket and enters with a record of 19-1. The Knights have won 15 games by 10 points or more and tout a perfect record in Section V play. On their heels is second-seeded Pittsford Mendon (No. 30 NYSSWA Class AA), a squad with a record of 16-4 and who at one point had a 12-game winning streak.

Third-seeded Canandaigua sits at 15-5, and has a defense that has held opponents to less than 41 points in a game 14 times this season. The winner of Class AA in 2025, Aquinas, has made the jump to Class AAA. Quarterfinal action starts on Friday. Here’s the breakdown:
