The 2026 Section V Class A Ice Hockey playoffs open with three first-round games on Tuesday. Quarterfinals take place on Friday with semifinals to follow on Thursday, February 26. The championship is scheduled for Monday, March 2nd at 7:30 p.m. at Gene Polisseni Center on the campus of RIT.
Top-seeded Pittsford is looking to repeat and claim its third Class A title in the last four years. Fourth-seeded Penfield finished the season with a three-game winning streak highlighted by a 3-2 over the third-seed WFL Panthers. Here is the breakdown:
