The Eagles used a 15-0 surge to open the frame and take control. The decisive run included a pair of 3-pointers by Jayden Patterson and seven points, including a 3-pointer, from Maldonado. Maldonado was joined by two other Eagles to get into double figures in Patterson (10) and Josh Morse (11) with six of Morse’s points coming in the first quarter. Irondequoit is one of three remaining undefeated Section V teams in Class AA, joining Penfield (5-0) and Pittsford Sutherland (5-0). After Hinsdale opened the game with a 7-2 run in the first two minutes, Mount Morris held them to eight points in the final 14 minutes of the first half, taking a 29-15 lead into halftime.
