Up 25-21 at the break, McQuaid used a big second half to earn its first win of the year. Nick Fallat led the Knights with 13 points, all coming out of the locker room, while Brayden Woodard had 11. Jeremiah Myers and Andrew Gerenski also reached double-digits, with 10 points each. CJ Nicholson and Isaiah Jackson each scored eight points, Gavin Vanderwal had five, as did Chrishaun Jordan. Javier Medina and Tyrese Redden jointly led Edison with eight points each. Karron Mack (4), Michael Byrd (3), Izreal Ortiz (3), Julius Trammell (3), Aden Aden (2), Royal James Alexander (2), Cyrus L. Bridgewater (2) and Abukar Mohamad (1) also scored.

Max Skolen scored 18 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as Northstar Christian Academy made it two straight to start the season. Cayden Fabry also had a double-double, scoring 11 points and recording 12 rebounds. Kingston Downs put up 18 points and tallied five assists. Reid Thompson also reached double-digits, scoring 11. Jay Garwood (9 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals) and Miles Tomlinson (7) also scored.

Braelen Broome’s 21 points led Charles G. Finney to victory, giving the Falcon senior 1,000 career points. David Parra (12), Eli Drake (11), and Judaea Danesi (10) all reached double-digits, as well. Mateo Gefell (6), Mateu Diez (5), and Ethan Snavely (2) also scored. Luke Wilson led Arkport-Canseraga with nine points, while Bryan Hoss had five points. Jace Carey (3), Quinten Owens (3), and Drew Wilson (2) also scored.

Jackson Kennelly led Red Jacket with 14 points, while Dion Hobart and Dillion Janke each had 10.

Eli Smith led Pal-Mac with 15 points, while Brandon Conley also reached double-digits, with 12. Joey Hogen (9), Derek Leone (8), Camron Quick (7), Logan Bauer (6), Blake Stephens (5), Carsen Ribstein (5), Jackson Dennie (4), Reid Diehl (4), Trevor Adams-Maroney (3), Henry Beaton (2), and Will Frick (2) also scored for the Red Raiders. Bentley Decker and Connor Binkowski both put up 10 points for Haverling, with Owen Burlingame and Asher Phenes scoring four each. Josh Wheeler added two more for the Rams. Peter Jacob (8), Dylan Strang (6), Maddo Stoughton (5), Brady Wadsworth (3), Adho Magee (2), and Gage Grimes (2).

Cooper Grassel scored 16 points, including a 12 points off three-pointers in the third quarter, as Gananda remained perfect on the season. Hunter Vogt tallied 15 points, while Owen Switzer also reached double-digits with 11 points. Grady Rogers led Bloomfield with a nine-point night, while Griffin Ward and Jesstin Vogel both scored eight. BreSean Totton (7), Macoy Rogers (3), Devin Hagen (2), Dagan Brewster (2), and Brayden Arber (1) also scored.

Clay Rigdon led Dansville with 20 points as the Mustangs won their second straight game to start the season. Brady Henchen (13), Jake Kreiley (10), and Cody Moran (10) also reached double-digits. Sean Everett (9), Trea Nickerson (2), Gavin Halbert (2), and Mason Forrester (2) also put up points. Letchworth’s Brody Beachel led all players with 33 points, while Caden Sumeriski scored 11.

Oren Ray scored 17 points as Geneseo overcame a 29-22 halftime deficit for the win. Avery Hepler (12) and Evan Sorge (10) also reached double-digits for the Blue Devils who used a 13-4 third-quarter to take a two-point lead into the final eight minutes of play. Shay Hepler (6), Eric Hammond (4), Benton Maloney (2), and Cam Carrocio (2) also scored. Mason Snyder (15), Pierce Dinkins (12), Isaiah Wright (9), Austin Wakefield (9), and Preston Dinkins (3) racked up points for Alexander.

LYNDONVILLE (1-4) 55
OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (1-0) 70

Mason Watterson scored 28 points on the night while racking up eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block as Oakfield-Alabama used a 27-12 first quarter to jump ahead early en route to a season-opening win. Lyndonville went on a 20-7 run to tighten the game to 32-30 at the half, but the Hornets outscored Lyndonville 38-25 the rest of the seal to seal the victory. Gabe Smith finished with 15 points with nine rebounds and three blocks. Trevor Enes (9 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 7 steals) and Bryce Harkness (9 points, 5 rebounds) also contributed. Lane Woodworth (16), Colton Smith (15), and Atticus Mank (10) were the top scorers for Lyndonville.

AVOCA-PRATTSBURGH (1-0) 58

Carter Button and Colin Zurlick each scored 12 points as Avoca-Prattsburgh overcame a 21-18 halftime deficit to give the Titans their first win of the season. Austin Swift added 10 points, while Connor Parulsle (9), JJ Crawder (8), Landon White (5), and Josh Carlton (2) also scored. Addison’s Tyler Miller led all scorers with 18 points, while Sawyer Westervelt added 15 for the Knights. Henry Strauss (5), Keaton Quich (4), Weston Nichols (3), Gabe Strope (3), Cameron Taylor (2), and Johnny Knaisch (2) rounded out scoring.
