Evan Weiner led the Pittsford offense with a goal and an assist to help the Panthers win back-to-back contests. The senior forward opened the scoring in the first period with some help from Casey Reagan. Simon George broke a 1-1 tie in the second period with a short handed tally with some help from Weiner. David Pollard sealed the victory with empty net goal with assists from Reagan and Kelan Ahern. Trever Griffin scored the lone goal for the Greece Storm on the power play with help from Chase Benham.

Kijo Smith stopped all 13 shots he faced for his first varsity win and shutout to help Victor start it’s sectional title defense on the right foot. Oliver Kowal led the the Blue Devil offense with two goals and an assist. Kowal’s goals came via special teams with one coming on the power play and the other coming short handed. Jack Abbott scored the other goal for Victor. Joey Hellinger, AJ Finocchario, and Brennen Paskins all chipped in a helper.

IRONDEQUOIT (2-0-1) 7
Landon Bryan recorded six points to help keep Irondequoit undefeated. Bryan found the back of the net five times during the contest while also chipping in an assist. One of the senior forward’s goals came on the power play. Thomas Mayer scored and registered three assists for the Eagles. Matthew Parsons also scored for Irondequoit. Porter Roberts and Ryan Adams each had a helper in the contest. Cam Hall and Lucas Nuccitelli led the Webster Thomas offense with a goal and an assist. Nathan Scheirer and Louis Sapere also scored for the Titans. Sapere’s goal was his first varsity goal that also came on the power play. Aiden Paul recorded an assist in the contest.
PORTSIDE ROYALS (0-0-1) 3
FAIRPORT (0-0-1) 3 OT
Fairport erased a second period 2-0 deficit to force a tie with the Portside Royals. Andrew Lamberton opened the contest’s scoring early into the first period with assists from Cole Laffin and Ryan Henchen. Wyatt Pentz doubled the Royals lead early in the second with help from Henchen. Jack Gosiewski answered to get Fairport on the board a few minutes later with an assist from Thomas Pane. Grant Ralston tied the game on the power play for the Red Raiders unassisted. Portside answered with its own power play goal from Samuel Schultz with help from Henchen. Corey Rene tied the game in the third with assists from Ralston. Both goalies had strong performances in net as Cameron McClenin stopped 24 shots for Fairport and Zachary Miceli mad 23 saves for Portside.

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (0-1-0) 1
Nick Scott led the Webster Schroeder offense with a three-point performance to start the season on the right foot. Scott scored two goals and recorded an assist. Anthony Pusateri had a goal and an assist in the contest. Tyler Splain and AJ Gervaise also found the back of the net for the Warriors. Connor Scott registered two helpers while Aiden Spakoski, Noah Spakoski, Cody Preston, and Ryan Buttles each chipped in an assist. Grady Galliford scored the lone goal for Churchville-Chili. Brody Gallagher and Grayson Galliford assisted on the tally for the Saints.

Evan Farrell stopped all 24 shots he faced for his first varsity shutout to help Spartan Hockey open up the new campaign on the right foot. Nick Maslowski scored the lone goal with assist from Wyatt Flannery and Zach Fennell.

PENFIELD (1-0-0) 10
Wesley Maksymiu scored four goals to help Penfield open the season on the right foot. Nick DiCataldo had three points for the Patriots with a goal and two assists. Corbin Miller found the back of the net twice in the contest. McAllister King, Nathan Quonce, and Jace Wilkins also scored for Penfield. Connor Anson and Owen Harris each had two assists in the contest. Connor Munro, James Carpenter, Carson Welz, Carson Schubmehl, and George Marron all chipped in a helper during the contest. Trent Munro stopped all six shots he faced between the pipes. Penfield finished the contest with 60 shots on goal.

WFL PANTHERS (2-0-0) 3
WILLIAMSVILLE SOUTH (VI) 0
Nathan Zimmerman stopped all 34 shots he faced to propel the WFL Panthers to back-to-back victories. After a scoreless first period, Ryan Allen setup Liam Kivimaki with the first goal of the contest in the second period. Joe Walsh added an empty netter late in the third period. A minute later, Allen collected his second assist as he setup Sean Allen for the third tally of the night.

Oliver Kowal led the Victor offense with a four point performance to help them earn back-to-back victories. Kowal finished with a hat trick that featured a short handed marker and an assist. AJ Bielecki, Carson Decker, and Jack Abbott all tallied a goal and two helpers in the contest. Decker’s goal was his first varsity goal while Abbott’s marker came with the man advantage. Eli Weingart found the back of the net and registered an assist. Collin Schoeneman and Bryce Premo scored fr their first varsity goals. Premo’s tally came on the power play. Kyle Casey, Elliot Spindler, and Robert Briggs all picked up their first varsity point with each collecting an assist. MJ Lord, Samuel Streb, and AJ Finocchario also recorded a helper in the contest.
