Joey Vigerzi scored a game-high 27 points and added six assists and six rebounds along the way to pace Gates Chili which used a 27-4 second-quarter advantage to take a 24-point lead into halftime. Tremier Lewis finished with 13 points, five boards and four assists while Nemo Pye followed with 12 points, four rebounds and two assists. Jaylen Givens netted 10 points including nine in the first half while Jaison Hart and Chris Elliott finished with six points apiece. Jaden Robinson scored four points in the opening 16 while Joe Caruso knocked down a three. Bruce Hanna added two points. Padilla’s Isaiah Caruthers connected on a four 3-pointers as part of a 16-point effort. Teammate Hassan Isgowe had 15 points. Khyrese Boose (5), Messiah Williams (2), Robert McCullough (2), Dawon Watson (2), L’Trail St. Fleurant (2) and Ty’Shawn Martino (1) also scored for the Bulldogs.

MIDLAKES (0-1) 40
SCHOOL OF THE ARTS (1-0) 67

Bennie Laver led all scorers with 13 points while Antwon Washington followed with 12 points including six from beyond the arc in an 18-4 second quarter to pace School of the Arts. Matthew Howland finished in double-digits with 11 points while Zayvier Little added eight points and five rebounds. Jordan Jenkins stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, five assists and three steals while Ahdonn Grant-Duncan did it all with eight points, seven boards and two blocks. Henry Hawkinson notched six points while Paul Stevens tallied two. For Midlakes, Joah Bennett scored nine from three-point land to lead the way while Finn Damann scored seven second half points. Marcus Tookes also put up seven points while Nate Lathrop and Jesse Bennett both ended with five. DJ Free-Love (3), Wyatt Smith (2) and Axel Arenas (2) rounded out the scoring.

HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA (1-0) 50
WILSON MAGNET (0-1) 45

Shane Samson finished with a double-double and scored seven points in the third quarter when Honeoye Falls-Lima erased a halftime deficit on the way to a win. Trailing 19-18, heading into the break, Samson connected three times from the floor including once from behind the 3-point arc. The senior forward finished the game with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jake Weber hit two triples in the third quarter and finished with three makes from distance on the night as part of a 13-point effort. Brody Swan added 10 points and eight rebounds in the win. Marco Vengoechea (2), Grady Goodberlet (6) and Nate Meacham (1) also scored for the Cougars. Jesse Lynn led Wilson with 13 points. Corey Faison added 12. Jaydon Ingram had ine for the Wildcats. Aaron Riley (5), Jayden Everett (2), Navon Fuqua (2) and Damyreon Warnick (2) also scored for Wilson.

WATERLOO (2-1) 66
MARCUS WHITMAN (0-1) 43

Carter Peterson scored a game-high 21 points while picking up eight rebounds and six assists along the way to pace Waterloo. Down 23-21 to start the third quarter, Waterloo outscored Marcus Whitman 27-8 en route to victory. Ryder Tam added 16 points while Nathan Barron followed with 14 points and seven assists. Hayden Willett finished with 10 points and seven boards while Kellen Mahoney put up five. For Marcus Whitman, Tariku Blueye and Ryan Santee led the way with 10 points apiece. Blueye also hauled in six rebounds. Connor Williams knocked down two threes and two free throws for eight points while Giannia DeLeo scored seven. Caleb Wedge and Jake Bodine both notched three points each while Parker Weissend tallied two.

NORTH ROSE-WOLCOTT (1-2) 70
SODUS (0-1) 51

Kameron Garcia led all scorers with 21 points while Cody Crane followed with 19 to pace North Rose-Wolcott. Evan DeWispelaere netted 18 points as well. For Sodus, Evan Laird led the way with 19 points while Taivean Logins scored 11.

GENESEO (1-0) 67
WELLSVILLE (0-1) 34

Oren Ray stuffed the stat sheet with a game-high 19 points, seven steals, five assists and five rebounds to pace Geneseo. Avery Helper netted 16 points with four boards while Shay Helper finished with a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds. Cameron Caroccio added seven points and seven rebounds while Noah Rice collected five points and two steals. Nick Conner ended with four points and four rebounds while Benton Maloney put up three points, three boards and three assists. Evan Sorge tallied two points. For Wellsville, Cole Densmore finished with 13 points and seven boards while Blake Kalkhof followed with 13 and four rebounds. Cole White and Nicholas Germaine-Tardieu both scored four points.
