Section V Boys’ Soccer announces 2025 All-Tournament teams

Section V Boys’ Soccer handed out eight sectional titles this season. To go along with championships, Section V coaches recognized individuals from each class for the 2025 All-Tournament teams.

Jackson Piacitelli led the way with a postseason goal and an assist while two-time All-Tournament selection Brock Stephany followed with an assist to help Fairport clinch its third consecutive Class AAA championship. Evan Furciniti allowed only two postseason goals to get the All-Tournament nod as teammate Drew Foster received his first honor as well.

McQuaid Jesuit’s Sam Leone earned his third All-Tournament selection in a row while teammates Oliver Aquirre and Adam McLaaren notched their first All-Tournament honors. Leone found the back of the net once while Aquirre netted two goals in the Knight’s 5-1 win over WOIS/Edison/Padilla/SOTA in the Class AAA semifinals.

Caiden Noble and Ayush Mainali were both recognized out of Rush-Henrietta while Bereket and Etienne Tremblay got the nod out of WOIS/Edison/Padilla/SOTA to round out the squad.

Churchville-Chili won its second title in the last three seasons and Lucas Cariola led the way with three goals and four assists in four playoff games to head the Class AA All-Tournament team. Bryce Wolf followed with two goals and four assists as the junior picked up two assists apiece in 6-0 shutout victories against Victor and Brockport. Kyler Thomas added a postseason assist to earn the honor while teammate Trevor Caldwell received an All-Tournament selection as well.

Penfield’s Connor Walsh netted two goals in a 3-0 shutout over Greece Athena in the quarterfinals and Adam Sokolowski added an assist and scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Walsh in overtime against Spencerport in the semifinals to earn All-Tournament selections. Teammate Keegan Signor also got the nod for the senior’s first All-Tournament honor.

Zach Tortora received his second All-Tournament selection while teammate Christian Arcara was recognized for the first time out of Spencerport. Brockport’s Cash Rosado was recognized in back-to-back seasons while Luke LaForce earned his first selection. Vadym Leskiv (Greece Arcadia), Charlie Petzing (Webster Thomas), Ryan Schumacher (Greece Athena) and Owen Drechsler (Webster Schroeder) round out the team, earning All-Tournament honors for the first time.

The 22-time sectional champions Pittsford Mendon landed four Vikings on the Class A All-Tournament team led by Ben Burrows with three goals in the playoffs and an assist on the championship-winning goal by Colin Krohn with five minutes left in regulation. Krohn also had an assist to get the nod while Evan Zavalo was recognized with three postseason assists. Danny Coyne led a Mendon defense that allowed just two goals in the postseason to earn a selection as well.

Max Morgenstern netted two goals while Oliver Simmons scored one to receive honors out of Pittsford Sutherland. Jack Woods joined his teammates on the All-Tournament team after a one goal, one assist performance in the Knights 4-0 victory over Batavia in the semifinals.

Joining the boys out of Pittsford include Batavia’s Trey Tryon and Jaziah Ayala. Nicholas Caine (Wayne), Ryan Irizarry (Newark), Wyatt Johnson (Palmyra-Macedon) and Franklyn Safari (Aquinas) all earned All-Tournament selections as well.

Wyatt Evingham posted three goals and four assists in three playoff games out of Hornell to earn a spot on the Class B All-Tournament team for the second year in a row. Evingham collected two goals and three assists in Hornell’s 5-0 shutout over North Rose-Wolcott in the quarterfinals as the Red Raiders went on to win sectionals for the third time in a row. Demayne Dixon netted a goal in the championship while Cody Cardamone found the back of the net in the quarterfinal as both earned their first selection. Marco Picco added an assist to join his teammates on the squad.

Jacob Wiley netted five goals including a hat trick in the first round and a brace in the quarterfinals to get recognized for the second time out of LeRoy/Caledonia-Mumford. Noah Kaczanowski netted four goals including a hat trick in the 5-1 quarterfinals victory and the game-winner in the semifinals against Mynderse to earn a first time selection. Jack Currin joined his teammates for the first time as well after his playoffs posting goal and two assists.

The duo of Brody Tanner and Long Cao both got nods out of Mynderse while Livonia’s Kaidan O’Connor and Nate Brown earned selections for the first time. Noah Schneider (Haverling), Alex Fedorchuk (Wayland-Cohocton), Brody McGirr (Letchworth/Warsaw) and Evan DeWispelaere (North Rose-Wolcott) all received honors as well.

Williamson won the sectional title for the 11th time in school history its first since 2021 as Ben Burns notched two postseason goals and one assists while Caleb Zuniga made seven saves and allowed one goal with four shutouts throughout playoffs to lead the Marauders and earn Class C1 All-Tournament selections. Caiden Hillegeer picked up two assists in Williamson’s 3-0 first round victory over Pavilion/York to get the nod while Ethan Niles joined his teammates on the squad as well.

Judah Tanner led the way with a goal and two assists in the postseason while Sean Lewis netted two goals in a 4-0 quarterfinals victory over Addison to get recognized out of East Rochester. Jordan Lampman found the back of the net in the championship and led a defense that allowed two goals and recorded two shutouts in the playoffs to join his teammates.

Garrett Barron and Evan Laird were recognized out of Sodus while Avon’s Nicholas and Ryan Weslowski earned All-Tournament selections as well. Byron-Bergen/Elba’s Colin Rea earned All-Tournament honors for the second year in a row Tarek Garrett (Holley) and Kevin Sirianni (Canisteo-Greenwood) round out the squad.

Connor Betrus netted five postseason goals, two in the quarterfinals, two in the semifinals and one in the championship along with an assist to lead Naples to back-to-back sectional titles, its 14th in program history and head the Class C2 All-Tournament team. Oscar Austin earned his second All-Tournament selection with two playoff goals and four assists with the senior’s best performance coming in a 4-0 semifinals victory over Geneseo with one goal and three assists. Isaac Ward added a postseason goal and assist in the semifinals while Oliver Bruen led a defense that did not allow a postseason goal to earn a spots on the team.

Kendall’s two-time recipient Pablo Rosario-Reyes netted six goals and notched three assists in the postseason while Brandon Barrett scored four playoff goals to earn selections on the squad. Rosario-Reyes found the back of the net four times and added two assists in the 7-1 quarterfinal victory over Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale while Barrett completed the hat trick to lead the Eagles to a 6-1 victory in the semifinals over Gananda. Jonny Conte made 20 postseason saves and allowed four goals through three games to receive the honor for back-to-back seasons.

Eric Hammond earned a spot on the squad for the second year in a row along with Oren Ray earning his first out of Geneseo. Gananda’s Owen Switzer and Henry Shutts received honors while Robert Childs earned his second selection in three years out of Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale. Braden Zilker (Bolivar-Richburg/Parker-Jordan) and Kacey McDonald (Dundee/Bradford) earned first-time selections to make up the team.

Isaiah Sisson led the way with three postseason goals and one assist to lead Fillmore to its 11th sectional title and fourth in five years and head the Class D1 All-Tournament team for the second year in a row. Sisson’s best game came in the semifinals where the senior netted two second-half goals to lift the Eagles over Genesee Valley-Belfast 2-1. Two-time selection Brayden Walton added two postseason assists and netted the lone goal of the Class D1 championship thanks to an assist from James Hillman to defeat Northstar Christian Academy 1-0. Braylon Hatch also tallied an assist to join his teammates on the squad.

Levi Hinds notched two assists and scored the game-winning goal in the semifinals while Christian Mazur netted two goals in the quarterfinals to get recognized out of Northstar Christian Academy. Roman Burkovsky joined his teammates after leading a defense that recorded two postseason shutouts and allowed just one goal.

Jacob DeRose and Nick Fantauzzo got nods out of Charles G. Finney while Genesee Valley-Belfast’s Grant Preston and Logan Rice earned selections as well. Aiden Howe (Keshequa), John Markus (Arkport-Canaseraga) and Lukas Carapella all received first-time honors.

Evan Obrochta netted two postseason goals and tallied an assist including the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Avoca-Prattsburgh to its second sectional title in program history and lead the Class D2 All-Tournament team. Carter Button notched three playoff goals and an assist with two goals coming in a 4-0 semifinals victory over Mount Morris to receive a selection. Chase Mummey and Austin Swift led a defense that recorded two shutouts and allowed two goals all postseason to earn spots on the squad as well.

Andover-Whitesville’s Brody Vance netted three playoff goals and added an assist including the game-winner in the semifinals against Lyndonville in a 1-0 victory. Colton Calladine notched two assists in a 4-0 quarterfinal victory over Lima Christian while Jake Mattison helped lead a defense that notched two playoff shutouts.

Lyndonville’s Jesus Rosario-Reyes got the nod for the second year in a row while teammate Colton Smith earned All-Tournament honors for the first time. Robbie Lonsberry and Yasael Malave-Perez were selected out of Mount Morris while Zack Doyle (Hammondsport), Josh Davidson (Houghton) and Nolan VanGorden (Jasper-Troupsburg) rounded out the squad.
