The Bulldogs are looking to reach the state title game for the first time since they finished as runner-up in 2008. Livonia reached the state title game one other time, winning Class B in 2006. Chenango Forks aims to reach the championship for the first time since the Blue Devils won in Class B in 2018. In two state title game appearances, Chenango Forks is 2-0.
