How they arrived here: Churchville-Chili earned the Section V Class AA crown with wins over Gates Chili (1-0), Victor (1-0) and Penfield (2-0) before advancing on penalty kicks (4-2) against Spencerport. The Saints then beat Frontier (2-0) to capture the Far West Regional. Warwick beat Roosevelt (3-0), Washingtonville (3-0) and Horseheads (3-2) to reach the NYS Semifinal.

History 101: Churchville-Chili is making its first NYS Semifinal appearance since 2003 and is looking to reach the state title game for the first time in program history. Warwick is looking to become the first Section IX team to reach the state championship in Class AA since Monroe-Woodbury won the title in 2019. Warwick last postseason title came in 1982.
