Tuesday Girls’ Soccer Wrap: Gray nets two goals to lead Byron-Bergen; Maxwell and Beach pace Livonia

Reghan Maxwell paced Livonia with a pair of goals to help the Bulldogs earn a Class B regional qualifier victory. Blair Maxwell recorded a team-high three assists. Madison Beach finished the game with a goal. Livonia will advance to the Class B NYS quarterfinals to face Section VI champion Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove (VI) on Saturday.

BYRON-BERGEN (18-2) 4
Mia Gray scored a goal in each half to lead Byron-Bergen to a second straight shutout victory and a Class C regional qualifier win. Anastasia Kuszlyk found the back of the net for her 15th goal of the season off a connection with Elizabeth Starowitz. Grace DiQuattro rounded out the scoring for the Bees with an unassisted goal. Rylee Burch recorded five saves and a clean slate. Genevieve Smith ended with an assist. Byron-Bergen will advance to the Class C NYS quarterfinal to face Section VI champion Wilson on Saturday.
