Riley Johnson’s 37-yard field goal provided all the scoring as Penfield advanced in Class AA action. Jack Bidleman led the Patriots defensively with seven tackles and a blocked punt, while AJ Theodorakakos made six tackles, including two for a loss. Evan Layton added six tackles. Dom Giunta threw for 31 yards while rushing for 51, and also made five tackles on defense. Penfield will head to No. 1 Rush-Henrietta in the Class AA semifinals round.

Kalin Watkins rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns as Webster Schroeder took the semifinal win. Watkins also threw for 15 yards, completing passes to AJ Amico and Liam Torpey. Torpey rushed for 51 yards, while Antonio Tebo added 50 of his own. Webster Schroeder faces No. 4 Brighton in the Class A1 championship game at SUNY Brockport on November 7.
CLASS A2

Taye Brown Jr. led East through the semifinals round with three touchdowns on 154 rushing yards as well as 71 yards through the air on a 4-for-6 night that included a touchdown pass. Jamie Anderson led the Eagles defensively with 12 tackles, including four for a loss, as well as three sacks. Tymere Gilbert also reached double-digits in tackles, making 10 including one for a loss. Michael Paxson returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown. The Eagles face the winner of Saturday’s Canandaigua-Brockport game in the Class A2 finals on November 7 in Brockport.
CLASS C
No. 7 HAVERLING (2-7) 20
No. 2 LETCHWORTH/WARSAW/PERRY (7-2) 34
Two touchdowns and two two-point conversions from Jake McEntire helped break a 12-12 halftime tie and lead Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry to a quarterfinal victory. McEntire ended the night with 100 yards rushing as well as five tackles and a sack. Carter Price and Chase Orcutt also made five tackles, while Ronan Merritt blocked a punt and an extra point. Caden Sumeriski scored two touchdowns on 47 yards rushing, while Aiden Shelley had 34 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry hosts No. 3 East Rochester in the Class C semifinals.

No. 3 EAST ROCHESTER/GANANDA (7-2) 34
A touchdown pass from Robbie Dettman to Justice Allen and then a 97-yard punt return touchdown from Allen gave East Rochester/Gananda a 13-0 lead in the first quarter that the Blue Panthers extended later in the game to advance through the Class C quarterfinal round. Dettman also ran for a touchdown, while Owen Munding led the Bombers with 144 yards rushing and a touchdown. Ray Allen rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. Nick Chiccino hit four point-afters. East Rochester heads to No. 2 Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry in the Class C semifinals.
CLASS D
No. 6 OAKFIELD-ALABAMA/ELBA (1-8) 6
No. 3 CANISTEO-GREENWOOD (6-3) 55
Nick Scott scored Oakfield-Alabama/Elba’s lone touchdown as part of a 68 yard rushing night. The senior also made four tackles, including one for a loss. Brady Werth had a 22-yard reception and five tackles on defense. Ty Reilly had nine tackles, including one for a loss. Canisteo-Greenwood heads to face No. 2 Avon in the semifinals.

No. 2 AVON (7-2) 29
Kalman Dolgos rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns and made five receptions for 83 yards including a touchdown as Avon advanced through the quarterfinals round. Quarterback Evan Blye completed 15 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 27 yards. James Chase made six catches for 62 yards while rushing for 74 yards. Tyler Coates caught a 21-yard pass from Blye. Gabe Mayen hit three extra points for the River Hawks. Blayden Borsching led defensively with 11 tackles, while Bobby Bridges and Chase each had nine. Avon hosts No. 3 Canisteo-Greenwood in the semifinals.
