History 101: Byron-Bergen took a 1-0 decision when these two teams met in last year’s final. This is the second time this season that Kendall and Byron-Bergen have met, with Kendall picking up a 2-1 win back in September. Kendall is looking for its first sectional title since 2018, the back end of a stretch that saw the Eagles win three titles in five years. Kendall’s 11 championships rank sixth (tied with Spencerport) all-time in Section V Girls’ Soccer history. Byron-Bergen is looking for a fifth straight sectional championship and to continue its quest for back-to-back state titles. The Bees are currently tied for the eighth-most Section V titles with eight.
