A goal from Wyatt Evingham 15 minutes into the game followed by a Jayden Rasephei score later in the first half propelled Hornell to a win in its Class B sectional semifinal game. Alfie Whitley earned his 16th shutout of the season, claiming the clean sheet while making two saves. Marco Picco assisted on Rasephei’s goal. Livonia’s Kaiden O’Connor made four saves. Hornell faces No. 3 Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford in the Class B final on Saturday. The loss brought to a close the career of long-time Livonia head coach Ray Maxwell. Maxwell retires as all-time wins leader in Section V Boys’ Soccer history with 579 career victories. Maxwell’s teams won 16 sectional titles and one state championship in 2013.

No. 2 MYNDERSE (14-4-0) 0
Noah Kaczanowski scored the lone goal of the match as the Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford Rivals advanced to the Class B final. Grady Gilligan made seven saves for the clean sheet. Le Roy/Cal-Mum faces Hornell for the Section V title on Saturday.

CLASS C1
NO. 4 AVON (12-6-0) 0
NO. 1 EAST ROCHESTER (17-0-1) 2
Goals from Judah Tanner and Joe Rountree sent East Rochester to victory in the semifinals. Eliot Marino and Xander Bolt had assists for the Bombers, while Steven McCann had a clean sheet defensively. East Rochester will face No. 6 Williamson on Saturday in the Class C1 final game.

An overtime score from Joey VanLare, assisted by Brendon Burns, sent Williamson through the C1 semifinals round. Axmir Sanchez Gonzalez made seven saves for Sodus. Williamson faces No. 1 East Rochester on Saturday in the Class C1 championship game.
CLASS C2
NO. 4 GANANDA (11-7-0) 1
NO. 1 KENDALL (18-0-0) 6
A hat trick for Brandon Barrett led Kendall through the semifinals round, with Pablo Rosario-Reyes adding two more goals as well as an assist. Jonathan Esposito also scored to go along with two assists. Michael Colucci, Charles D’Agostino, and Tyler McCue also had assists for the Eagles. Jonathan Conte made eight saves. Kendall faces No. 2 Naples in the Class C2 finals on Saturday.

NO. 2 NAPLES (16-0-0) 4
Connor Betrus scored twice while Oscar Austin added a goal and three assists to power Naples to a semifinal win. Isaac Ward scored the game’s first goal and also had an assist. Joseph Christmas made six saves for the clean sheet. Naples faces No. 1 Kendall in the Class C2 finals on Saturday.
