Fillmore and Charles G. Finney headline the Class D field as the only two teams with double-digit wins. Both squads fell in the semi-finals of last year’s tournament and earned the one and two seeds this year.
There are three teams from Private/Parochial, two from Allegany County II, Steuben County along with one team each from Finger Lakes West, Livingston County III, Genesee County II and Allegany County I.
The Eagles are searching for their fourth title since 2019, as Finney is looking for its first sectional title in program history. Keshequa, which, won the Class D title last year, has moved up to Class C2.
First-round action opens on Wednesday with three games.
