
Byron-Bergen, the defending Class C New York State Champions and Kendall stand at the top of the Section V Girls’ Soccer Class C2 bracket. The Eagles defeated the Bees earlier this season 2-1. This year’s Class C2 consists of seven teams with double-digit wins during the regular season, including last year’s Class D champion, Keshequa.
There are three teams from Finger Lakes West and Livingston County III along with two squads from Genesee Region I and II, Allegany County I as well as one apiece from Livingston County II and one Steuben County.
The Bees are searching for their fifth straight section title. Keshequa is looking to go back-to-back after winning the Class D title last year. Bloomfield enters the tournament winning 10 out of its last 11 games. Naples has won seven of eight.
First-round action starts on Wednesday with everyone but Kendall and Byron-Bergen playing.
