Friday Boys’ Soccer Wrap: Johnson leads Sodus to fifth straight win; Burns nets hat trick in Williamson victory

Max Morgenstern scored for Pittsford Sutherland with an assist from Kristopher Mihalitsas.

BLOOMFIELD (3-13-0) 1

Brayden Arber connected on what proved to be the game winner midway through the first half. Josiah Logan assisted on the play.

WATERLOO (0-14-1) 1
NORTH ROSE-WOLCOTT (6-10-1) 10

Cody Crane scored twice to lead the North Rose-Wolcott offense.

SODUS (12-3-1) 3
GANANDA (10-6-0) 1

Gauge Johnson finished with a goal and an assist as Sodus closed the regular season with its fifth straight win. Johnson had one of two first-half goals along with Garrett Barron. Robin Ramos-Lopez also scored for the Spartans. Cooper Ingersoll had an assist. Axmir Sanchez Gonzalez made 12 saves in the win. Idan Fridman scored an unassisted goal for Gananda.

WILLIAMSON (10-5-1) 7
LYNDONVILLE (9-7-0) 0

Ben Burns accounted for a hat trick and one assist as Williamson won for the fourth time in five games. Cohen Burggraaff had two goals and an assist in the win. Ethan Niles and Andrew Petrosky both found the back of the net with one goal. Brendon Burns had two assists. Joey Vanlare also had an assist. Ryan Wagner (3 saves)and Caleb Zuniga (3 saves) combined for the shutout.

MARION (1-14-1) 3
RED CREEK (1-14-1) 3

Roger Jesus Olivera Ortiz finished with three assists for Marion. Jacob Mayville, Tobey Rogiers and Heath Smith Jr. each scored for the Black Knights. Damon Keefe, Eoin Wynne and Niall Wynee scored a goal apiece for Red Creek.

AVON (11-5-0) 6
LETCHWORTH/WARSAW (7-7-0) 1

Levi Hann scored twice, and Avon won its fifth straight game. Elisha Swift had a goal and an assist in the win. Swift and Hann staked the Riverhawks to a 2-nil lead at halftime. Nicholas Weslowski, Joshua Polland and Benjamin Veley also scored for Avon. Caden Leonard, Luigi Manning, Collin Coyne and Kevin Jimenez-Rodriguez each had an assist. Jack DeVito (4 saves) and Christopher Dechau (2 saves) combined in goal for the win.

WELLSVILLE (0-15-1) 0
KESHEQUA (10-6-0) 5

Noah Hinrich, Aiden Howe, Kayden Rodrigues and Owen Schoonover had a goal and an assist apiece as Keshequa closed the regular season with back-to-back wins. The quartet staked the Wildcats to a 4-nil lead at halftime. Zach Smathers also scored in the win. Lukas Pike accounted for an assist. Shawn Krenzer earned his sixth shutout of the season.

ATTICA/ALEXANDER (5-11-0) 2

Jackson Beck and Keagan Clark scored a goal apiece to lead Attica/Alexander. Jace Anetrini contributed assists on both goals. Colton Spink made three saves for the shutout.

AVOCA-PRATTSBURGH (10-5-1) 0
CANISTEO-GREENWOOD (12-3-1) 0

Avoca-Prattsburgh’s Zachary Heale made eight saves.

ADDISON (7-9-0) 0
ARKPORT-CANASERAGA (10-5-0) 1

Everett McCarthy netted the game winner midway through the second half as Arkport-Cananseraga won for the third time in four games. Curtis Hartman assisted on the play.

HAMMONDSPORT (5-10-1) 0
CAMPBELL-SAVONA (6-7-2) 1

Luke Carapella scored the lone goal in the 30th minute. Karum Ahmed assisted on the play. Chance Miller registered a shutout in the win.

JASPER-TROUPSBURG (3-11-2) 1
ALFRED-ALMOND (4-11-1) 2

Cuhlyn Perkins and Lucas Stearns finished with a goal apiece to lead Alfred-Almond.

FILLMORE (15-1-0) 6
CUBA-RUSHFORD/HINSDALE (7-8-1) 0

Isaiah Sisson and Isaac Wilcox scored two goals apiece to lead Fillmore. Sisson staked the Eagles to a 1-nil at halftime. Judah Russell set up the play with one of his three assist on the night. Sisson opened the second-half scoring, and Fillmore went to find the back of the net five times coming out of the break. Brayden Walton and Levi Russell also scored in the win. Ezra Knapp and Sam Cool both had an assist.
