Friday Girls’ Soccer Wrap: Ewing nets game winner for Churchville-Chili in regular season finale; Gursslin cards hat trick for Naples

Jenna Christensen found the back of the net twice to lead Greece Olympia to a win.

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (12-3) 1
With five minutes left in the second half, Jill Ewing scored the game-winning goal off a connection from Lexi Olson to seal the win for Churchville-Chili. Tessa Wood ended the game with a shutout in net for the Saints.

FAIRPORT (10-4-1) 1
IRONDEQUOIT (1-14-1) 0

After a scoreless first half, Savanna Biehler scored the lone goal of the game for Fairport off a direct kick from Carlin Lowe. Addison Tally also added seven saves for a shutout in goal.

GREECE ATHENA (13-1-1) 4
BATAVIA (8-6-2) 1

Haley Drake finished the game with a hat trick to help Greece Athena finish the regular season with a win. The captain’s first two goals came after separate assists from Brianna Drake before nailing a penalty kick. Peyton Drake scored a header after a corner kick from Lauren Grasley. Emilee Montagliano ended with eight saves in the win.

Jaden Deming led Aquinas with two first half goals to lead the Li’l Irish to their third straight win. Sienna Fallone added a goal to pair with an assist. Julianna Shannon and Savannah Sweet both finished the game with an assist to round out the Aquinas attack. Briar Hinds ended with four saves.

Sadie Gursslin paced Naples with a hat trick to help Naples record back-to-back shutout wins to close the regular season. Mia Betrus followed with two goals scored. Etta Austin found the back of the net once and recorded a team-high four assists. Lilliana Gursslin and Nola Sullivan both finished the game with an assist. Natalie Brahm added two saves to record the clean slate in net. 

KESHEQUA (14-2) 5
LE ROY (6-9-1) 2
Quinn Powers found the back of the net twice after two separate assists from Braelyn Isaman to help Keshequa end the regular season on a win. Isaman scored a goal and finished the game with a game-high three assists. Belle Rigney scored the lone first half goal for Keshequa. Alivia Cartwright netted a goal after a pass from Ryley Benner. Leah Long recorded six saves in net.

LETCHWORTH (4-12) 2
After ending the first half down 1-0, Kaitlyn Treutlein scored the game tying goal off a direct kick to pioneer a comeback for Warsaw. Five minutes after, Cece McEntire scored a lead-taking goal off a pass from Becky Ratajczak. Lexi Sonricker rounded out the scoring for Warsaw after an assist from Willow Reagan.

After a scoreless first half, Morghyn Ross scored off a connection from Brooklyn Templeton to help Fillmore win their 13th straight game. Kelsie Songster added a save and a shutout in goal. 

ANDOVER-WHITESVILLE (5-8-3) 1
GENESEE VALLEY-BELFAST (7-7-2) 2
Bayleigh Tallman and Cierra Davenport both found the back of the net once to help Genesee Valley-Belfast end the regular season on a win. Madelynn Scott recorded an assist on both goals.
