Saturday Boys’ Soccer Wrap: Arcadia makes statement; Lewis nets hat trick as East Rochester stays unbeaten

Brandon Owens and Nicholas Pullano had the goals for Arcadia as the Titans handed No. 1 NYSSWA Class A Mendon its first loss of the season. Vadym Leskiv and Justin Owens had an assist each while Nathan Aldrich made 10 saves in net, earning the win. The win was the third in Arcadia’s past four games.

VICTOR CENTRAL (1-10-1) 1

Justin Burton scored two goals and had an assist as Fairport remained undefeated. Francesco Maniscalco and Brock Stephany had the other two goals for Fairport.

Jack Macmillan and Benjamin Rizzone had the goals for Brighton. Henry Rush and Max Zwas notched an assist each while Myles Russell earned the win in net, making seven saves. Zach Tortora scored for Spencerport.

Caden Leonard had the lone goal as Avon rebounded from a loss with its third win in the past four games. George McGrain picked up the assist. Jack DeVito made five saves for the shutout – Avon’s fourth clean sheet of the season.

Sean Lewis netted a hat trick and added an assist to lead East Rochester. Sean Hogan and Judah Tanner had the other two goals for ER with Hogan picking up three assists as well. Steven McCann made six saves in goal, earning the shutout – ER’s third straight clean sheet and fifth of the season.

Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford won its fourth straight.

Colton Calladine finished with a hat trick and two assists to lead Andover-Whitesville. Brody Vance added two goals and two assists as well with Isaiah Cole picking up the sixth goal.
