Thursday Girls’ Soccer Wrap: Schmeelk tops Williamson with hat trick; Bucci leads Geneseo to 10th-straight win

Emily Peacock, Alli Moss and Ryan Smith each scored a goal to lead Spencerport. Smith, Liana Tata and Autumn Henn had an assist apiece in the win.

CHARLES G FINNEY (7-1) 12

Emma Frederickson, Avery Bochno, Gianna Neitz, Sydney Boyer, Natalie Zabawa, Olivia Duncan, Sadie Moore, Hope Muratore, Kiley Knittle, Alex O’Donnell and Lily McLaughlin had a goal apiece for Charles G Finney.

Allie Skeval and Kayla Irwin each led Northstar Christian with a goal. Skeval netted a goal three minutes into the second half off an assist from Treasure Adiele. Irwin scored 13 minutes later off a pass from Leah Vetere. Alisha Demarest had eight saves in the win.

Lauren Schmeelk led Williamson with a hat trick. Haeden Wing and Natalie Karasinski added a goal each. Gabriella Welker, Sadie Stoffel, Mia Nyarady, Callie Leisenring and Makenzie Frank each dished out an assist in the win.

Eighth-grader Kaelyn Montague connected in the 18th minute to provide all the offense Avon needed. Fellow eighth-grader Madelyn Freeman (playing in her second career varsity game) set up the goal. Olivia Short made four saves for the shutout. Avon outshot Le Roy, 11-4.

WARSAW (4-5-1) 1

Bre Bishop scored a goal and dished out an assist as Caledonia-Mumford won its fourth-straight game. Emma Brogan netted the game-winner for the Raiders. Mady Ross added an assist in the win.

Raegan Evingham and Ella White topped Hornell with a goal and an assist apiece. Alexis Smith, Parker Graham and Brianna Fent each had a goal in the win.

Olivia Bucci led Geneseo with a goal and an assist. Madi LaDelpha netted a goal off a pass from Olivia Bucci. Kendal Bennet had one save in the shutout.

Ryley Benner topped Keshequa with two goals and two assists. Quinn Powers added a goal and two assists. Braelyn Isaman, Belle Rigney and Alivia Cartwright had one goal and one assist apiece. Onnie Long, Allison Phillips and Riley Nageldinger each ended with a goal. Bree Benner added an assist in the win.

Zoey Winfield led Haverling with a goal. Makayla Smith had 19 saves in net.

Addy Stone led Avoca-Prattsburgh with the golden goal four minutes into overtime. Kansas Trinkle added a goal and an assist. Brooke VanSkiver ended with a goal. Morgan Bell and Meyah Putnam added an assist apiece. Alanna Campbell stopped eight shots in the win.
