Tuesday Boys’ Soccer Wrap: Evingham leads, Hornell stays undefeated; Arkport-Canaseraga’s Wright hauls in 10 saves for third shutout

EASTRIDGE (1-6) 0

Finn Halpin netted two second-half goals and added an assist to lead Batavia to its fourth victory in its last five outings. Aiden Reimer scored the first goal of the game 15 minutes into the first half. The shutout was the second of the season for the Blue Devils.

WILSON MAGNET (1-5) 2

Ezra Gathercole completed the hat trick off assists from Samuel Jokl, Cade Merrill and Oliver Osterling to lift Honeoye Falls-Lima to its fourth straight victory. Hudson Reed (4) and Lukas Wilson (2) combined for six saves.

William Manthey netted a hat trick while Robbie Lonsberry finished with a goal and three assists to pace Mount Morris to back-to-back victories. Riley Mantegna added a goal and two assists while Shawntz Brown and Terry Dylan each found the back of the net in the final 40 to contribute to cap off a five-goal second half. Yariel Diaz tallied an assist while Dominic LaPina recorded two saves for the senior’s first shutout this year.

Brayden Arber completed the first-half hat trick and picked up an assist along the way to pace Bloomfield. Graham Seddon and Ryan Vento each found the back of the net to cap off the five-goal opening 40 while Sebby Williams netted a goal in the second half. Uriah Gumaer notched two assists while Josiah Logan added one. Dagan Brewster tallied two saves between the posts.

Camden MacKerchar and Wilson Oliva netted a goal apiece for Penn Yan. Tukker Fisher tallied an assist while Miles Ditzell garnered six saves. For Midlakes, Fernando Resendiz and Frank Acevedo each found the back of the net once.

LEROY/CALEDONIA-MUMFORD (6-2) 0

Wyatt Evingham netted two goals thanks to a penalty kick and an assist from Cody Cardamone to lead Hornell. The senior has 14 goals on the season, tied for third in Section V. Alfie Whiteley made four saves for the senior’s fifth shutout of the season.

LIVONIA (7-2) 2

Nathan Brown and Shea Maxwell scored a goal apiece to lead Livonia to its fourth consecutive victory. Aaron Lubberts and Braeden Roller both tallied an assist. Sean Everett hauled in 13 saves for Dansville.

HOLLAND (VI) 1
KESHEQUA (6-2) 4

Aiden Howe led the way with two goals while Lukas Pike followed with a goal and two assists to lead Keshequa to its fifth victory in its last six matchups. Cameron Wood scored the first goal of the game 11 minutes in while Owen Schoonover picked up two assists. Shawn Krenzer tallied two goals between the posts.

ARKPORT-CANASERAGA (7-3) 4

Aydan Button found the back of the net twice and added an assist to contribute to a three-goal second half and pace Arkport-Canaseraga to snap a two-game losing streak. Quinten Owens and Michael Guild netted a goal apiece while Kyle Armeli picked up two assists and John Marcus tallied one. Eli Wright hauled in 10 saves for the junior’s third shutout of the season. Wright leads Section V with 107 saves.
