Monday Girls’ Soccer Wrap: Demarest registers shutout for Northstar Christian; Montague tallies hat trick for Avon

Liana Tata and Julia Maloney found the back of the net for the Rangers. Blakely Thornton and Sydney Wyant each collected an assist. Haley Drake scored both goals for Greece Athena. Lauren Grasley collected an assist for the Trojans.

GREECE OLYMPIA (5-1-1) 8
Daniella Kungwa and Grace Sce combined for a shutout for Greece Olympia to help the Spartans win their third straight. Jenna Christensen and Ava Burnham led the offense with two goals each. Kyleigh Bathe, Leah Gray, Mya Burnham and Maddie Lovejoy each had a tally for Olympia.

Rylee Mayer led the Gates Chili offense with a goal and an assist to help them end a three game losing streak. Mayer scored her goal on a penalty kick. Adriana Clark, Taylor Herzog, Macy Mayer, and Adrianna Raucci all found the back of the net. Hayden Byer, Evelyn Amesbury, and Nyasia McGinnis all recorded an assist.

Alisha Demarest registered a 14 -ave shutout for Northstar Christian to help the Knights bounce back from a loss. Natalia Polidori and Allie Skeval scored for the Knights. Kayla Irwin and Analiese Pestke each tallied an assist.

Marlee Poole stopped all nine shots she faced to extend Bloomfield’s win streak to four contests. Emory Didas scored the lone goal for the Bombers unassisted.

Natalie Chalk-Spoor tallied a second half hat trick to help Marcus Whitman to get back into the win column. Chalk-Spoor found the back of the net in the 56th, 60th and 78th minutes. Annabelle Weston assisted on the last two goals. Addison Forrest scored the lone goal for East Rochester in the 20th minute with an assist from Amiria Burroughs.

YORK/PAVILION (4-3-1) 1
Mya Hayes led the Dansville offense with two goals to guide them back into the win column. Other contributors were Kingsley Sauerbier with a goal assisted by Colleen Metcalfe and Madeline Hurlburt with 12 saves in goal.

 Riley Beaty had her second hat trick of the season to help Haverling win back-to-back contests. Zoey Winfield, Aleah Binkowski, and Tegan Cary all adding one for the Rams.  Langleigh Evans had two assists while Winfield, Binkowski, Sami Wolfe, and Paityn Spears each had one as well.

Kaelyn Montague led the Avon offense with a hat trick to guide them back into the win column. Sophie Patti scored the other goal. Abby Coyne and Payton Rice each recorded an assist.

WARSAW (2-4-1) 4
Kaitlyn Treutlein led the way with a hat trick for Warsaw. Treutlein’s first goal came eight minutes into the game off a pass from Emily Klump.  Treutlein returned the favor just six minutes later when she fed Klump the ball earning her own assist.  Treutlein’s second and third goal were assisted by Katelyn Smith and Mia Fusani respectively. Genevieve Grover earns her second shutout in goal this season.

Penn Yan had 11 different goal scorers to help win back-to-back contests. Avery Ziegler, Sofia Montano, Meggie Pratt, Addison Gillette, Megan Wheeler and Kalliope Fingar scored their first varsity goals. Nina Reid, Lila Hansen, Ruby Berry, Makenna Mullins and Piper Castner tallied goals as well.

Braelyn Isaman scored with a header off of a corner kick by Quinn Powers with 20 minutes left in the second half to break the 0-0 tie.  Onnie Long scored an insurance goal for Keshequa assisted by Kate Rautenstrauch.
