Friday Girls’ Soccer Wrap: Faix scores overtime game-winner for Churchville-Chili; Buczek records hat trick to lead Oakfield-Alabama

BRIGHTON (3-5) 0
Sophie Esders netted two goals to pace a four-goal first half as Webster Thomas rebounded from a loss with its fourth win in the past five games. Esders also added an assist. Magdalayna Auinger scored the first goal of the game and added an assist. Avery Morgan recorded a goal with 18 seconds left in the first half. Maya Blair and Seraphina Lippa both recorded three saves apiece for a combined shutout win in net. 

GREECE OLYMPIA (4-1-1) 5
HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA (2-5) 0

Jenna Christensen netted a hat trick, and Daniella Kungwa registered a shutout as Greece Olympia stayed unbeaten in its past five games. Haley Falco added a goal and an assist in the win. Meghan Tedesco also found the back of the net for the Spartans. Ava Burnham, Isabelle Sce, Leah Gray and Kyleigh Bathe contributed an assist apiece. The clean sheet was the second straight and fourth overall for Kungwa and the Olympia defense.

GREECE ATHENA (5-0) 4
Haley Drake finished the game with two goals and an assist to pace a four-goal attack in the second half for Greece Athena. Isabella Manetta netted her first varsity goal for the Trojans.

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (6-2) 2
GATES CHILI (1-6) 1 OT
Elise Faix scored the overtime game winning goal for Churchville-Chili off a pass from Alexis Olson. Faix also added an assist. Jilly Ewing netted the first goal for the Saints.

WEBSTER SCHROEDER (6-4) 2
VICTOR (2-5) 1 OT

Kylie Smith connected on a golden goal in the first overtime, and Webster Schroeder won its second straight and fourth in the past five games. Emma Rascoe set up the game winner. Reis Arnold started the scoring for Schroeder with an assist from Smith. Sydne Herman made six saves for the Warriors. Camryn Adrid scored for Victor with and assist from Mia DeRosa.

GREECE ARCADIA (2-5-1) 0
PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (5-3) 6

Kate Pinto scored twice including the first goal of the night to spark the Sutherland offense. Elizabeth Riley and Sarah Fields also found the back of the net in the first half as the Knights grabbed a 3-nil lead heading into the break. Alyssa Hatch and Stella Livernash connected on second-half goals. Hatch, Taylor Hamilton, Eva Cregg, Lucy Bush and Brinley Merrick each had an assist. Madison Littlefield and Meron Tassew combined for the shutout.

Zhia Washburn scored the lone goal for Bishop Kearney/Chesterton/HAC off an assist from Ella Lester. Jane Witkowski wrapped up four saves in net for a shutout.

Addison Buckley, Abby Herring and Rhiannon Zentz scored a goal apiece to lead Perry. Zentz, Addison Campbell and Kennedy Gross each had an assist.

RED CREEK (4-2-1) 0
Leah Anthony connected on the only goal after a pass from Mikenzie Shear to lead North Rose-Wolcott to a win. Daelin Fowler bundled up 16 saves for a shutout win in goal.

PEMBROKE (0-5) 1
OAKFIELD-ALABAMA/ELBA (5-3) 7
Ava Buczek scored a hat trick and added two assists to lead the Oakfield-Alabama/Elba attack. Alahna Chatt followed with a pair of goals and a team-high three assists. Gracie Smith contributed a goal and an assist. Allison Harkness added a goal.

Abby Earley scored a pair off first half goals to lead Fillmore to their fifth straight win. Mylee Miller recorded a pair of assists alongside a goal of her own. Grace Walton added an assist. Kylie Songster recorded four saves for a shutout win.

Bayleigh Tallman netted a hat trick to lead Genese Valley-Belfast to a win. Whitney Young added an assist on a goal from Tallman. Elizabeth Grantier saved six shots in net for GV-B.
