Wednesday Boys’ Soccer Wrap: Fantauzzo and Leng lead Finney; Phillips wins it in OT for Livonia

CHARLES G. FINNEY (4-0-1) 10
Nick Fantauzzo and Seihak Leng each scored two goals as Charles G. Finney won its fourth straight match. Sean Hartman, Miguel Brontons, Jacob Derose, Matteo Gefell, David Meijas, and Noah Valance also scored for the Falcons, with Hartman also recording an assist. Keelan Futch led the squad with two assists, while defensively Boaz Staub and Zephan Zinnecker split time in net, making a save each.

BISHOP KEARNEY (2-5) 0
WOIS/EDISON/PADILLA/SOTA (5-1) 1
Eddie Appietu scored the match’s lone goal – a 40 yard free kick in the third minute – as WOIS/Edison/Padilla/SOTA won its fifth straight match.

LETCHWORTH/WARSAW (4-2) 3
DANSVILLE (1-6) 0
Brody McGirr scored twice for Letchworth/Warsaw while Jaydin Wright scored another as the United won their third straight. Tristian Suleki and Dan Murray notched assists. Julian Hunsinger had eight saves while recording his first clean sheet of the season.

Gavin Clinton’s first varsity goal proved to be the game-winner for Keshequa as the Wildcats won their fourth straight. Aiden Howe scored the other goal, while Cam Wood assisted on both scores. Colby Gonzalez Carman tallied Perry’s only goal.

LIVONIA (5-2) 1 (OT)
Gavyn Phillips scored an overtime goal to win Livonia’s second straight match, with Grant Francis on the assist. Lars Kovach had 15 saves as goalkeeper for the clean sheet.
