Saturday Boys’ Soccer Wrap: Krohn nets hat trick for Pittsford Mendon; Brown scores twice for Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale

RUSH-HENRIETTA (1-2) 2

Samir Khapangi got Rush-Henrietta on the board in the first half with an unassisted goal. Caiden Noble added onto the lead in the second half with a goal, assisted by Nathan Herrera. A goal from Leorent Murtezi brought Victor back within a goal, but they were unable to even the score.

FAIRPORT (3-0) 3
HILTON (1-1) 0

Sean Griffin and Alexander Grejda had a goal each for Fairport in the first half with Griffin’s coming less than a minute into the contest. Francesco Maniscalco added on with a goal in the second half. Jackson Piacitelli, Eli Speidel and Andrew Kohl had the assists for Fairport. Evan Furciniti and Jared Mulley combined for the shutout.

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (3-0) 3
WEBSTER THOMAS (0-3) 0

Braeden Naujokaks got Churchville-Chili on the board 15 minutes into the first half, scoring on an assist from Bryce Wolf. Elijah Klewicki and Christopher Keller picked up the other two goals in the second half. Lucas Cariola and Patrick Callahan were credited with assists. Mason Simmons earned the shutout in net.

BRIGHTON (1-1-1) 4
GATES CHILI (0-2) 0

Johnathan Longno Phoummany and Alessandro Bosa netted a goal each in the first half for Brighton with Bosa picking up the assist on Longno Phoummany’s goal. Ostap Khaba and Peter D’Angelo notched the final two goals for Brighton in the second half with Longno Phoummany and Finn McIntyre recording assists.

GREECE ATHENA (2-1) 1
PITTSFORD MENDON (3-0) 5

Colin Krohn notched a hat trick for Pittsford Mendon in the win. Benjamin Burrows and Jackson Forney had the other two goals for the Vikings. Krohn, Naveen Sidhu and Tyler Hurley had the assists. Landon Ambeau had the only goal for Athena in the loss.

SPENCERPORT (2-0) 2
IRONDEQUOIT (1-2) 0

Christian Arcara got Spencerport on the board first scoring off a corner kick. Paolo Cancellieri added a second goal shortly after. Michael Tette picked up both assists for Spencerport. Antonio Marsocci made multiple saves in net for the Rangers, earning the shutout.

PENFIELD (1-1) 1
WEBSTER SCHROEDER (1-1) 0

Dylan Zimmerman notched the lone goal for Penfield in the win. Ryder Lucas made three saves in goal, securing the shutout for Penfield.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (3-0) 3
GREECE ARCADIA (2-1) 0

Lucas Livernash made seven saves for his third shutout in as many outings. Aiden Hoy led the Sutherland offense with a goal and an assist. Jack Woods and Frankie Mazzarella added a goal apiece. Ryan Steeley and Max Morgenstern each had an assist.

BATAVIA (2-1) 3
GREECE OLYMPIA (1-2-1) 1

Troy Hawley, Teddy Cswaykus and Finn Halpin had a goal each for Batavia in the win. Aiden Reimer registered two assists and Harry Mellander earned the shutout in goal.

CANANDAIGUA (2-1) 0
BROCKPORT (3-0) 1

Cash Rosado scored with an assist from Ryan Camman, and Ty Sherman stopped a penalty kick with :20 seconds remaining to preserve the shutout.

NORTH ROSE-WOLCOTT (1-3) 3
GENEVA (1-2) 1

Ryland Dunham had the lone goal for Geneva in the loss. Noah Cammarota picked up an assist on the goal.

MIDLAKES (0-3) 0
GANANDA (1-1) 4

Idan Fridman had a goal and an assist in the win for Gananda. Jayden Holmes, Owen Richards and Justin Simpson had the other three goals. Jacob Frey, Peter Jacob and Quinn Cody picked up the other three assists.

DANSVILLE (1-2) 3
ATTICA/ALEXANDER (0-2) 2

Jacob Kreiley, Issac Kurtz and Xander Mitchell had a goal each for Dansville in the win. Mitchell and Dominick ODell notched the assists for Dansville. Sean Everett made eight saves in goal, securing the win for Dansville. Robert Beck and Preston Dinkins had the goals for Attica/Alexander. Jace Anetrini registered an assist.

PAVILION/YORK (0-2) 2
HONEOYE (1-2) 3

Senior Daniel Gawel converted on a set piece to lift Honeoye. Teammate Owen Higgins took a free kick from 40 yards out that Gawel headed into the net to end a back-and-forth affair. Braiden Schneider gave the Bulldogs a lead in the 27th minute off an assist from Brendan Moore. After Pavilion/York tied the game, Higgins scored on a penalty kick five minutes into the second half to give Honeoye a 2-1 advantage. Pavilion/York’s Drake Schwab delivered the equalizer with 3:33 remaining in regulation. Schwab leveled the match at one with 1:26 to go in the first half.

CAMPBELL-SAVONA (2-2) 1
CUBA-RUSHFORD/HINSDALE (3-0) 3

Carter Brown had two goals for Cuba-Rushford in the win. Brock Stadler had the third goal and an assist. Holden Bilotta and Carson Schunk had the other two assists while Coleman Searle picked up the win in net, making six saves.

AVON (1-1) 0

Noah Kaczanowski scored the lone goal with an assist from Brayden Chase.
