Six different players scored a goal for Pittsford Sutherland as they outshot Wayne 29-7 and won their season opener. Jack Woods, Aiden Hoy, Zephyr Garigen, Will Gianakakis, Ollie Simmons and Kris Mihalitsas each had a goal apiece. Woods and Hoy along with Frankie Mazzarella IV, Max Morgenstern, Joe Arikkat and Nick DiCesare had the assists for Pittsford Sutherland. Lucas Livernash made seven saves in goal, earning a shutout. The win was the first under CJ Knapp, who took over as head coach of the Knights this season.

Mason Simmons picked up his 20th career shutout in goal for Churchville-Chili, setting the Saints’ program record. Lucas Cariola notched a hat trick with a goal in the first half and two in the second half. Braeden Naujokas had a goal and an assist. Christopher Keller, Bryce Wolf and Elijah Klewicki also had assists for Churchville-Chili.

Alec Insalaco scored the first goal for Irondequoit on a free kick with just 40 seconds remaining in the first half. Ryan Ensign picked up the second goal exactly 12 minutes into the second half with a header on a cross from Wesley Zeller. Kassem Kassem connected on the final score for Irondequoit with 10 minutes left in the game off an assist from Josue Kabata. For Zachary Titus, a 2015 Aquinas graduate, it was the second-year Irondequoit head coach’s first win over his alma mater.

Arnanh Douangdala had both goals for Greece Olympia in the consolation game of the Taylor Bliss Tournament. Domenic Pellicano and Josh Stephens picked up an assist each for Olympia. Connor Welker made 10 saves in net for Olympia.

Elijah Doell had all four goals for Mynderse Academy as they shut out Red Creek. Doell had a goal in the first half, assisted by Aiden Lopez. He then completed the hat trick with about 10 minutes left in the second half and added a fourth goal less than 20 seconds later on an assist from Ethan Olmstead. Brody Tanner earned the shutout in goal for Mynderse.

In the championship game of the Taylor Bliss Tournament, Livonia beat Newark in double-overtime thanks to a goal from Grant Francis. Rider Vanzandt notched the first goal of the game for Livonia off a direct kick from Ethan Batzel to give them an early lead. Nate George tied the game at one eight minutes into the second half, taking a through ball from Ryan Irizarry and cashing in his first varsity goal. A goal from Gavyn Phillips gave Livonia the lead once again with 17 minutes left. Irizarry tied the score at two just two minutes later, scoring a corner kick from Luke Taylor to send the game to overtime. Irizarry and Victor Hernandez were named to the All-Tournament team for Newark. Vanzandt, Batzel and Lincoln Richardson were named for Livonia, with Richardson being crowned MVP.

Noah Kaczanowski had two goals and an assist to lift the Rivals. Anthony Wright added a goal and two assists. Brayden Chase and Sean McNear picked up a goal each. Jack Currin had the final assist for the Raiders. Grady Gilligan had five saves in goal to secure the shutout.
