A solo home run to center from Mattie McCumiskey and an RBI bunt single from Kelsie Songster put Fillmore ahead 2-1 in the fourth inning, but a four-run fifth inning including three RBI hits with two outs sent Forestville through to the state semifinal round. Morghyn Ross led Fillmore with two hits, while Tenlee Miller and Abby Earley also hit safely.
