How they arrived here: No. 2 seeded Oakfield-Alabama beat Eugenio Maria Dehostos (7-0), Alexander (8-2) and Genesee Valley-Belfast (9-0) to reach the title game. No. 4 seeded Bolivar-Richburg downed Perry (12-0), Kendall (7-0) and Dundee/Bradford (9-2) to advance to the Class C2 championship.

History 101: Oakfield-Alabama’s most recent Section V title came in 2022 in Class C2. The Hornets also won in ’09 (Class C2) and ’11 (Class C1). Bolivar-Richburg claimed three straight sectional titles from 2021-23, including two in Class C2 and one in Class C3. The Wolverines also won in ’10 (Class D1) and ’14 (Class C3).
What’s at stake: A spot in the Class C Regional Qualifier on Monday against the winner of the Class C1 matchup between Bloomfield and Warsaw.
