The No. 4 Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines used a five-run seventh to open up a seven-run lead and beat No. 1 Dundee/Bradford in a Class C2 softball semifinal, 9-2.
Kylee Whiting struck out 13 to earn the win for Bolivar-Richburg (15-4), and also collected three hits at the plate. Danika Loucks and Sydney Faulkner each drove in two runs for the Wolverine, while Rylee Whiting and Jayna Thomas both had multiple hits.
Korrin Yeoman led Dundee/Bradford (13-2) with two hits including a double and an RBI. Morgan Sutryk singled and brought in a run. Adalyn Tham and Maddie Knapp each singled. Sutryk also struck out six from the circle.
The win sends Bolivar-Richburg to face No. 2 Oakfield Alabama in the Class C2 final on Saturday at Honeoye-Falls Lima.
