CLASS AA

NO. 16 PENFIELD (8-16) 0
NO. 4 WEBSTER THOMAS (17-5) 6

Joey Baller went 2-for-3 including a two-run double in the third inning when Webster Thomas scored three times and went on to clinch a spot in the Class AA final with its 13th straight victory. Baller later scored on an Owen Zimmer single. AJ LaLoggia finished 3-4 in the win and crossed home plate in the first inning thanks to a passed ball to put the Titans on the board first. Tyler Estelle added a hit and two runs. Parker Carley singled, which drove Nathan Caracci home in the sixth for the final run of the game while Cameron Guffey collected a hit and a run in the third. Caracci also doubled while Trevor LeRoy grounded into a fielder’s choice which allowed Estelle to cross home plate in the fifth inning. Max Seaver hurled seven scoreless innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts and two walks to earn the win on the mound. For Penfield, Gabriel Reyes tallied the sole hit of the game. Webster Thomas advances to the Class AA Sectional Championship to play No. 2 Churchville-Chili.

NO. 2 CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (19-4) 5

Down 3-2 in the bottom of the third, Lucas Karelus knotted the game with an RBI double and scored the go-ahead run on an Aaron Reina base hit as Churchville-Chili went on to clinch a spot in the Class AA final with its 10th win the past 11 games. Reina scored on a Joshua Miner sacrifice bunt to cap the three-run inning. James Derleth went 2-for-3 with a two-run single in the second that drove in Marcus Roney and Nicholas Vaccaro to give the Saints a 2-0 lead. Bobby Rule Jr. added a double and a run while Nicolas Arena singled. Anthony Indiano scattered three runs on two hits with five strikeouts and two walks over 3.2 innings to earn the win while William Sheible struck out five over 3.1 scoreless innings of one-hit ball with a walk to pick up the save. For Canandaigua, Sam Clark singled, scoring two runs and crossed home plate thanks to a sacrifice fly from Jackson Clark during the third inning to give the Grey Wolves a 3-2 lead. Jackson Clark also singled while Richard Baskin singled and tallied a run. Austin Kierst crossed home plate once. Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the eighth with two outs and bases loaded, Parker Orbaker walked it off with a fly ball single to center field that drove in Evan Laird for the game-winning run to lift Sodus to its fifth straight victory. Orbaker also singled in the fourth inning while Garrett Barron finished with two hits as well including an RBI-single that drove Carter Salerno home to tie the game at one apiece in the third. Salerno singled to get on base. Laird went 2-for-3 with a double in the eighth inning to get in scoring position while Austin Cincinello doubled and Gauge Johnson singled. Cincinello also struck out nine with one run on three hits and one walk over eight innings to earn the win on the mound. Liam Ezard led the way with a hit and a run thanks to a ground out by Hayven Cordes to give Pavilion/York a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Zachary Bauer and Landen Stoddard both added a hit apiece as well. Sodus will take on the winner of No. 3 Geneseo/No. 7 Bloomfield in the Class C1 championship with location, date and time still to be determined.

NO. 7 BLOOMFIELD (13-4)
NO. 3 GENESEO (17-4) PPD

The Class C1 semifinal matchup between No. 3 Geneseo and No. 7 Bloomfield has been rescheduled for Thursday at Livonia High School with first pitch at 7 p.m.

CLASS C2

NO. 5 OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (12-9) 2
NO. 1 KENDALL (21-1) 3

Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh with two outs and bases loaded, Sam Conte singled to center field which drove Michael Colucci home for the game-winning run to walk it off for Kendall’s 14th consecutive victory. Colucci singled to get on base. Charles D’Agostino went 3-for-3 with two runs thanks to an RBI-triple in the first and an RBI-double in the fifth from Vinny D’Agostino to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. Nicholas Cole singled in the sixth inning and struck out 10 while allowing two runs on three hits with two walks over seven innings to earn the win on the mound. For Oakfield-Alabama, Hunter Tobolski hit a two-run single that drove in Avery Watterson and John Cianfrini to tie the game at two apiece in the top of the sixth. Watterson singled to get on base while Cianfrini grounded into a fielder’s choice. Jake Gehlert also singled in the sixth inning. Kendall moves on to the Class C2 Championship as the Eagles await the winner of No. 2 Genesee Valley-Belfast/No. 3 Gananda with location, date and time still to be determined.

NO. 3 GANANDA (18-4)
NO. 2 GENESEE VALLEY-BELFAST (20-1) PPD

The Class C2 semifinal matchup between No. 2 Genesee Valley-Belfast and No. 3 Gananda has been rescheduled for Thursday at Hornell High School with first pitch at 5:15 p.m.
