The 2025 Section V Class D Softball bracket features four Allegany County teams, three teams each from the Private-Parochial League, Genesee Region, Steuben County along with two teams from Livingston County Athletic Association and one representative from Finger Lakes West. The tournament begins on May 22nd and ends with the championship contest taking place on May 31st at Honeoye Falls-Lima at 11 am.
Friendship-Scio enters as the defending champions in Class D, on top of four straight sectional titles since 2021. No. 1 seed Lyndonville leads with a 17-2 record, finishing the regular season undefeated against Class D opponents. No. 2 seed Avoca-Prattsburgh comes in with a 15-2 record, winning nine of its last 10 games. No. 3 seed Keshequa enters with a 12-3 record after falling in the title game to Friendship-Scio last year. No. 6 Northstar Christian enters sectionals winning six of its last seven outings.
