Sal Burge walked once and finished with three RBI, thanks in-part to a fourth-inning two-RBI double to help boost Brighton to a birth in the quarterfinals. Trailing 4-3 entering the bottom of the fourth, Grady Hopkin scored Max Sheehan. Then, after Burge’s double, Michael Staszak placed a double into the right field grass that scored Burge. Staszak would also come around to score later in the frame. Hopkin singled, scored, and walked twice. Hopkin pitched three and a third innings of relief pitching and struck out a batter. Zachary Oravec was the starter for Brighton and struck out three batters over three and two third innings. Nolan Bonnell walked three times, singled, scored, and had an RBI. Wesley Sturrup walked three times and scored three times, while Jack Edelstein walked twice and scored twice. Sheehan paired an RBI with a single. Noah Dietz had an RBI. Landon Santini ended his day 2-for-3 with three RBI, two walks, and four scored runs. Kylan Ball doubled, scored, and had an RBI. Brayden Lang singled twice, crossed home plate, and drove in a run.
