Castle Packs Power Saturday Softball Wrap: Murphy, Siciliano and Speer lead rally for Hilton; Weber strikes out 13 for Lyons

GATES CHILI (4-10) 9
CANANDAIGUA (1-18) 2

Payton Kretser allowed two runs and five hits with six strikeouts from the circle for Gates Chili while having a 2-for-4 day with an RBI single. Both Janita Carley and Mackenzie Brown tripled and stole a base. Carley finished with one walk, one run scored and an RBI while Brown scored two runs. Claire Yates singled and scored two runs. Annaliesse McGill walked once, recorded an RBI single and scored one run. Mattingly Krester singled and scored a run. Chloe Favasuli finished with two runs scored. Deanna Georgetti added a sacrifice fly. Cora Holtby led Canandaigua with a triple and a run scored. Audrey Colf recorded an RBI double and a run scored. Sarah Goodsell (1), Hannah Hirschmann (1) and Marlena Casey (1) rounded out the hitting for Canandaigua.

AQUINAS (10-5) 3
BRIGHTON (4-14) 2

Kendall Buttles struck out eight and allowed two runs (one earned) in a complete-game effort to lead Aquinas to its third straight win. Buttles also walked twice and recorded two runs scored. Gia Masters finished 1-for-2 with a stolen base and a run scored. Addison Whipple singled and walked once. Delilah Rogers and Riley Madigan each tallied an RBI. Delaney Buttles stole one base. Gabriella Glanville led Brighton with an RBI double. Luci Rozzi singled and recorded a sacrifice bunt. Taylor Shoars singled and scored one run. Shannon O’Hora (1) and Elena Toombs (1) rounded out the hitting for Brighton. Charlotte Empie recorded a run scored.

EASTRIDGE (9-7) 5
HILTON (11-8) 7

Maddie Murphy and Paige Siciliano connected on back-to-back singles in the top of the seventh inning to help Hilton rally from a 5-4 deficit. Grace Speer drove in Siciliano for the game-winning run. Murphy finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Siciliano went 2-3 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI. Speer was 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Naomi Rosario fanned seven for the win on the circle and scored a run. Juliana Saporito singled with a run scored and an RBI. JJ Sienbok led Eastridge going 2-2 with two walks, a triple, and a solo homer. Emma Johnson followed finishing 2-4 with two RBI.

Kasandra Plewa paced Haverling finishing 2-for-3 including a two-out two RBI single in the fourth inning to establish a 2-0 lead. Kaili Witherell struck out 10 and allowed five hits in a complete-game effort. Witherell also doubled. Ryleigh Laverty walked and notched two runs scored. Caydence Spears recorded a run scored. Kenadee Comstock led Victor finishing 2-3 at the plate. Audrey Steinorth, Kennedy Chizuk and Kaylee Lenhard each singled.

LE ROY (11-6) 7
IRONDEQUOIT (2-17) 1

Bryar Biracree fanned 10 and threw a complete-game one-hitter with one run allowed (zero earned) to help Le Roy win its third straight. Biracree also finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Sierra Burk recorded a two RBI single in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 7-1. Burk finished with a team-high three RBI. Both Annora Karcher and Ashlyn Saunders went 2-4 with one run scored. Lila Fortes added an RBI single and finished with one run scored and two RBI. Kylie Wilson walked twice and recorded three runs scored. Bianca Merica walked once and scored a run. Ella Cooley led Irondequoit with an RBI single in the third inning. Rianne Maddaleno walked once and finished with one run scored. Emilia Newell stole a base.

PADILLA/FRANKLIN (10-4) 7

Tournament MVP Jessia Breedy struck out 14 in a complete effort and Padilla claimed the 2025 Rochster City Athletic Conference (RCAC) championship.

Karina Natale struck out 12 and allowed two runs (one earned) to earn the win in a complete-game three-hitter. Natale also singled with three stolen bases, two runs scored and an RBI. Kendall Carr doubled and notched a team-high four RBI. Carley Baker singled and walked once with one run scored and two RBI. Alexis Coumbe led Marcus Whitman with a single and a run scored. Michaela Cooley singled twice and stole a base.

LYONS (18-1) 5
MARION/GANANDA (10-5) 1

Keira Weber fanned 13, allowed two hits and one run (zero earned) to register a the win in the circle. Weber also singled twice at the plate. Addison VanLare finished 2-for-3 including an RBI single in the first inning to help Lyons take a 2-0 lead. VanLare also recorded an RBI triple. Baylei Reed went 2-3 with an RBI double. Kamryn Bonnell was 2-2 with a run scored. Jayla Bell accounted for an RBI double and one run scored. Gabriella Aunkst notched an RBI single. Rylee Richardson singled and scored a run. Raegan Quigley led Marion/Gananda with an RBI single in the fourth inning. Kallianne Meyer singled, stole a base and scored one run.

LYNDONVILLE (14-2) 1
OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (14-1) 6

Piper Hyde led Oakfield-Alabama going 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Savannah Durham punched out seven and allowed two hits to notch a win in the complete-game effort. Durham also singled. Allison Harkeness finished 2-3 with an RBI. Chloe Lamb recorded a sacrifice fly.

OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (14-2) 3
Rylee Denny led Oakfield-Alabama with a two-run homer at the top of the fifth inning. Emma Moeller finished 2-for-3 and pitched six innings at the circle allowing five hits and two earned runs. Piper Hyde recorded a double. Raine Denny (1), Allie Williams (1) and Jess Sosnowski (1) rounded off the hitting for Oakfield-Alabama.
