Monday Flag Football Wrap: Brennan leads Batavia defensively; Olivia Zizzo throws for four touchdowns for Webster Thomas

Kylee Brennan pulled 10 flags (including four for a loss), deflected two passes, and returned an interception for a touchdown as Batavia avenged a loss from two weeks ago. Offensively, Jaimin Macdonald led the Blue Devils offensively with three touchdowns passing, all in the first half, going 10-for-17 for 111 yards through the air while adding 53 yards rushing. Leilah Manuel caught two of Macdonald’s touchdowns as part of a 32-yard night, while Brennan caught another passing touchdown. Alyssa Turner led Batavia with 45 receiving yards. Alyssa Turner, Lily Rodriguez, and Nicole Doeringer all had four flag pulls, with Turner and Libby Garzioplene pulled down interceptions.

GREECE ODYSSEY/OLYMPIA (10-4-1) 12
Victoria Koumoko opened scoring for Greece Odyssey/Olympia with a 50-yard rushing touchdown while Phalon Parr also scored on the ground as Odyssey/Olympia finished the regular season with a win. Bella Pastrana had four flag pulls for losses, while Hannah Roxstrom led in overall flag pulls with eight.

Charlotte Engin had two touchdown passes to Liz Rumble for Pittsford. Claire Baek led Pittsford defensively with 11 flag pulls.

Olivia Zizzo threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns as Webster Thomas finished the regular season on a three-game win streak. Olivia Smith recorded three touchdowns: two receiving and one rushing. Olivia Bommelje joined her fellow Olivias on the scoreboard with a receiving touchdown. Kristina Baller contributed on both sides of the ball, notching a receiving touchdown and pulling down an interception.

Webster Schroder quarterback Emma Rascoe passed the 2000 yard mark as the Warriors finished the regular season on a seven-game winning streak. Penfield’s Sophia Puccia was 15-for-23 for 201 yards and three touchdowns passing while rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Molly Brown gained 71 yards from scrimmage, including a receiving touchdown. Hannah Shrouder (two catches for 44 yards) and Emma Garigen (three catches for 40 yards) each scored a touchdown as well. Defensively, Garigen recorded an interception.

Allie Frederickson led Charles Finney with three touchdowns, while Lucy Broome had two and Kate Fredrickson recorded one. The regular season-ending win was Finney’s third straight.
