A third-inning grand slam by Cam Lauterbach helped Pittsford Mendon to its third straight victory. The grand slam was one of two hits on the day for the freshman. Felicity Knapp threw a complete-game shutout for the Vikings, allowing three hits and striking out six in seven innings of work from the circle while doubling at the plate. Alexandra Van Ginhoven tripled and led Pittsford Mendon in hits, with three. Arina Van Baaren recorded two RBI. Jillian Wexler singled and brought in a run. Isabella McGowan (2), Madeline Fallows (1), and Elise Brunner (1) rounded out the hit column for the Vikings. Lillian Petitti had two hits for Brockport, with Hannah Carpenter recording the other.

Brooke Gruschow also recorded three hits, driving in a run. Jade Fowler notched two hits and an RBI. Abbigail Maylin doubled and brought in two runs, while Alysa Richards also doubled, driving in one. Emeline Good went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Morgan Dunman and Jenna Fowler both singled. Abbie Graupman doubled and brought in a run at the plate for Gates Chili while striking out nine while allowing one hit and two unearned runs in 4.2 innings pitched. Mackenzie Brown went 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Claire Yates doubled in a run. Lyla Smith drove in three runs on a 2-for-4 night. Drew Stevens doubled and chalked up two RBI. Hannah Carney singled as part of a three RBI game.

Hannah Glanton, Julia Devany, Ella Devaney, and Emma Hollenbeck all hit safely twice, with Glanton driving two in two and Ella Devaney and Hollenbeck bringing home one. Alexandra Sippel and Caralynn Orlando recorded a hit and an RBI each. Cassidy Wilt had two hits for Churchville-Chili, with Bailey DiGiacomo also filling the hit column.

Quinnleigh Yeakel (2), Julia Barry (1), Waverly Milliman (1), and Mikayla Fiorito (1) rounded out the hit column for Fairport.

Bailey Vincek and Kiley Knittle each had two hits for Finney, while Riley Snavely and Madeline Borchers had an RBI each.

In a resumption of a game started on Monday before being delayed due to rain, pitcher Brianna VanHaneghan and the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders held on for the team’s third straight win and fifth in the last six. The senior hurler struck out four while allowing three earned runs in the complete game victory. Shelby Geer singled, drove in a run, and scored once, while Emmalynne Bedette singled and walked. Addison Gendron, Jordin Ingalls, and Jillian Anthony also recorded hits for Palmyra-Macedon. Zoe Eaton hit two doubles for Wayne, while Savannah Celso put up a single and a double. Samy Ray was 2-for-3 with a walk.

Dundee/Bradford’s Morgan Sutryk struck out 13 hitters as part of a two-hit shutout performance for the BraveScots. Sutryk also helped her own cause at the plate, tripling and bringing in a run while walking twice and scoring three times. Alexis Rosno led Dundee/Bradford at the plate, hitting safely twice and driving in two runs. Korrin Yeoman, Maddie Knapp, Piper Sampson, and Hannah Herrick all had a hit and an RBI. Adalyn Tham doubled, and Reese Simpson recorded an RBI. Katelyn Good and Asiyah Green had a hit each for Geneva.

Kaili Witherell began Haverling’s doubleheader with Dansville with an 11-strikeout, one-hit performance over four innings before Makayla Smith struck out one in the final frame. Witherell also performed at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Caydence Spears had two hits in the contest, both triples. Smith, like fellow pitcher Witherell, went 2-for-3 with two runners brought home. Smith Peyton Lathrop recorded doubles. Sierra Haight and Abbie Whaley each went 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Gabby Shroyer went 2-for-4 with a runner driven in.

Geneseo’s Adelyn McDonald struck out 19 and allowed one hit over seven innings as the Blue Devils won their second straight and third out of their last four games. McDonald also had two hits of her own. Heather Wright brought in the lone run of the day, a bunt single that brought in Kylie Wall. Evelyn Warner, Paige Rossborough and Emma Conklin also had hits. Le Roy’s Bryar Biacree went six innings and struck out nine, allowing an unearned run on six hits. Izabelle Farrell had the lone hit for Le Roy.

Melissa Sawyer had three hits in three at-bats, stealing two bases, scoring three times, and driving in a run. Ella Felski singled and brought in a run. Ava Yax and Melanie Bump rounded out the hit column for Alexander.

Adalyn Ball (2) and Hannah Anderson (1) rounded out the hit column, while Juliana Cleveland brought home a run. An error on a double-steal. in the eighth brought Amelia Sorochty in to score to end a wild game that saw Elba jump ahead, 10-7, in the sixth, only for Notre Dame Batavia to force extras with three runs in the bottom half of the sixth. The win puts Notre Dame Batavia back in win column- they’ve won four of their last six but snapped a two-game losing streak in Friday’s game. Sorochty’s game-winning run capped a 4-for-5, three RBI day for the shortstop. Sofia Falletti went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI. Riley Hare and Mia Treleaven each had three hits, with Hare collecting two doubles and Treleaven bringing home a run. Shirley Thompson also recorded an RBI. Harper Ferris hit safely twice, while Madelyn Casey, Clarissa Milliman and Olivia Gillard rounded the hit column. Among the key contributors for Elba were Bri Totten and Brea Smith, who each had two hits. Madalyn Marks led Elba with three RBI.

Rylee Whiting struck out 13 as Bolivar-Richburg won its third game of its last three. Danika Loucks and Kylee Whiting each drove in two runs, with Kylee Whiting recording two hits on the day. Loucks’ RBI, a single in the fourth, put Bolivar-Richburg ahead for good. Jayna Thomas and Teegan Sibble also hit safely twice. Izabella Gardner went 4-for-4 for Hornell.

Meyah Putnam and Elise Harrell combined for a no-hitter for Avoca-Prattsburgh, with Putnam throwing six innings and four strikeouts before Harrell finished the game in the seventh. Each pitcher allowed one walk. Putnam also had two hits at the plate. Alydia McIntyre led Avoca-Prattsburgh at the plate with a two RBI triple. Ellie Harrell also singled in a run. Payton Hopkins and Charlotte Peck hit safely. Leah Loveless, Kali Maddock, and Sarah Pionessa were Campbell-Savona’s lone baserunners, reaching on walks or, in Pionessa’s case, a hit-by-pitch.
