Castle Packs Power Thursday Softball Wrap: Stein walks it off for Spencerport; VanLare leads Lyons with eight RBI

Paige Stein led Spencerport with a walk-off two-run single in the bottom of the eighth. The Rangers trailed 5-4 to start the eighth, Ariana Bruns led off the inning with a single and Ella Newell followed with a double to put runners on second and third. Stein stepped up to the plate and connected on a single to center to drive home Burns and Newell to win the game. Newell finished with two hits and an RBI. Burns ended with two hits. Isabella Marlott added a hit and an RBI. Marlott also earned the win hurling a complete game with six strikeouts. Kelsey Sick added a single in the win. Malena Leastman topped Chruchville-Chili with two hits and an RBI. Katie Chesher added a hit and an RBI. Kaitlyn DiGiacomo finished with two hits. Carly Carpenter, Bailey DiGiacomo and Kenadi Heeg each contributed a single.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (11-1) 13
BISHOP KEARNEY (5-2) 9

Gabrielle Lyons topped Pittsford Sutherland with two hits including a two-run home run and four RBI. Mandy Meyers and Julia Devaney each ended with two hits and two RBI. Meyers smacked a two-run homer in the sixth. Devaney earned the win in the cricle going all seven innings. Emma Hollenbeck finished with four hits and an RBI. Alexandra Sippel pitched in three hits and an RBI. Hannah Glanton had two doubles. Katie Sarr added a single and Caralynn Orlando contributed an RBI in the win. Carmella Phelan led Bishop Kearney with three hits and three RBI. Miami Jones added two doubles and two RBI. Claire Spears pitched in a hit and an RBI. Coral Enscoe had three hits including two two-baggers. Morgan Walton and Dyanni Rivera each had an RBI.

Maddie Marchiole finished with five hits and one RBI. Marchiole hurled a complete game in the circle. Taylor Shoars had two hits and an RBI. Luci Rozzi and Shannon O’Hora each added two hits. Charlotte Empie pitched in a single in the win. Bella Faticone topped Irondequoit with a single and two RBI. Ella Cooley and Abby Ras each contributed a hit.

Briana VanHaneghan led Palmyra-Macedon going 3-for-4 including two extra-base hits and five RBI. Kerrigan Connolly ended with four hits including a double and three RBI. Elianna Rouland added three hits and an RBI. Shelby Geer finished with a single and an RBI. Addi Gendron, Jillian Anthony and Layla Steinruck each pitched in a hit. Haylee Marvin and Kaedy Andross each contributed one RBI. Emma LaBour topped Midlakes with a solo home run. Emily Smith ended with a single.

Cook hurled a complete game with five strikeouts in the circle. McKenna Collins pitched in three hits. Gwen Strom ended with two hits including a double in the win. Makayla Ranney and Erica Reigelsperger each led Naples with a hit and an RBI. Abigail Hall ended with two hits. Emily Lester, Natalie Brahm and Juliann Hall each contributed a hit.

Addison VanLare topped Lyons going 4-for-4 with two homers, two triples and eight RBI. Rylee Richardson ended with three hits including a double and two RBI. Richardson hurled in nine strikeouts in the circle. Elise Wilkinson and Lydia Briggs each added two hits and an RBI. Jayla Bell and Taylor Keeley each had a single and an RBI. Kamryn Bonnell and Keira Weber each pitched in two hits. Peyton Bonnell contributed one RBI in the win. Makenna Fioravanti led East Rochester with a single and an RBI.

Bri Lynn led Caledonia-Mumford with a go-ahead two-run single in the top of the ninth inning. Entering the ninth tied at 0-0, Colleen Talty singled with one out, stole second and went to 3rd on a wild pitch. Mia Wilson walked and then stole second. Bri Lynn came up with two outs and hit a single to score Talty and Wilson. Talty ended 2-for-4 on the day. Shea Drazkowski added one hit. Grace Beach hurled all nine innings in the win. Payton Rice and Kyleigh DeRider each topped Avon with two hits. Jessie Crye added in a hit and 17 strikeouts in the circle over nine innings. Rylie Miller, Avery Boor, Charley Pierce and Violet Phillips each pitched in a hit.

Payton Hopkins fanned three over a complete-game effort. The ninth-grade pitcher allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks as Avoca-Prattsburgh won its third straight game. Brooke VanSkiver finished 4-for-4 at the plate with two run scored. Ellie Harrell went 2-4 and drove in a run in the seventh when the Titans scored three times to pull away from a one-run game. Hopkins was 1-3, reached base there times and scored once. Isabelle Button was 1-3 with an RBI. Charlotte Peck and Alydia McIntyre both scored in the seventh inning. Keshequa’s Bree was 3-4 and scored twice. Ava Thayer also scored for the Wildcats.

Brooke Rodas topped Kendall going 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Teagan Shaw ended with two singles and an RBI. Izzy D’Agostino, Alea Barrett, Ella Christ and Lia Larson each hit a single. Inez Stangler earned the win hurling a complete game in the circle. Brooklyn Jachimowicz led Elba with three singles and an RBI.

Savannah Durham topped Oakfield-Alabama with two hits. Rylee Denny added a double.

Melanie Bump smacked a two-RBI double. Emily Pietrzykowski and Ava Yax each had a hit and an RBI. Pietrzykowski fanned 11 batters in five innings in the circle. Lillian Szymkowiak roped a double in the win. Lily Stalica topped Byron-Bergen with a hit and an RBI. Natalie Prinzi added a single.

Kylee Whiting had a hit and earned the win in the circle hurling a complete game with 11 strikeouts. Jayna Thomas had a single in the win. Morghyn Ross led Fillmore with a hit and two RBI. Mylee Miller ended with a hit and an RBI. Mattie McCumiskey, Tenlee Miller and Abby Earley each contributed a single.
