Entering the ninth tied at 0-0, Colleen Talty singled with one out, stole second and went to 3rd on a wild pitch. Mia Wilson walked and then stole second. Bri Lynn came up with two outs and hit a single to score Talty and Wilson. Talty ended 2-for-4 on the day. Shea Drazkowski added one hit. Grace Beach hurled all nine innings in the win. Payton Rice and Kyleigh DeRider each topped Avon with two hits. Jessie Crye added in a hit and 17 strikeouts in the circle over nine innings. Rylie Miller, Avery Boor, Charley Pierce and Violet Phillips each pitched in a hit.

Payton Hopkins fanned three over a complete-game effort. The ninth-grade pitcher allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks as Avoca-Prattsburgh won its third straight game. Brooke VanSkiver finished 4-for-4 at the plate with two run scored. Ellie Harrell went 2-4 and drove in a run in the seventh when the Titans scored three times to pull away from a one-run game. Hopkins was 1-3, reached base there times and scored once. Isabelle Button was 1-3 with an RBI. Charlotte Peck and Alydia McIntyre both scored in the seventh inning. Keshequa’s Bree was 3-4 and scored twice. Ava Thayer also scored for the Wildcats.
