Wayne’s Bailey Cook ran for 154 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles won their second straight. Alex Mullin recorded 50 yards from scrimmage, while Kaylee Randall and Sadie McElwain led the team in flag pulls.

Vivianne Boor led an Avon comeback, returning an interception for a touchdown and later throwing the go-ahead extra-point to Olivia Wonsey to turn what had been a 12-0 Canisteo-Greenwood lead with five minutes left into Avon’s second win in its last three games. Nora Honan had the game-tying touchdown rush. A late drive by Canisteo-Greenwood was foiled by another Boor interception to seal it, while Honan also had two interceptions. Olivia Short led Avon in flag pulls.
