Nate Carter (Bishop Kearney) and Rushawn Baker (Victor) both were signed as undrafted free agents on Saturday night.
Carter signed a UDFA contract with the Atlanta Falcons. He spent the first two years of his collegiate career at UConn, before transferring to Michigan State for two years. At Michigan State, Carter amassed over 1,500 yards from scrimmage and found the end zone 11 times.
At Bishop Kearney, Carter garnered All-Greater Rochester honors as a senior in 2019. As a junior, Carter racked up 1,259 yards and scored 17 touchdowns, including a pair of receiving.

Baker signed with the New York Giants. After transferring to Elon from Bucknell, the running back received All-CAA Honorable Mention in his lone year. Baker found the end zone nine times on the ground alongside 859 rushing yards. In each of the final four games of the season, Baker eclipsed the 100-yard threshold on the ground.
Baker was tabbed as the 2021 Spring All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year while at Victor. In seven games, Baker ran for 1,173 yards on 123 carries, finding the end zone 19 times.
Great to see an athlete from Victor, NY and Section 5 football get a chance to compete in the NFL, especially with the N Y Giants. Best of luck Rushawn! Go Big Blue.
