The junior started a four-run fifth inning with an RBI-single that closed the gap 10-8. In the seventh, Austin Kierst capitalized on an Athena pitching error while Griffin Kierst scored on a sacrifice fly from Cole Harris to tie the game at 10 apiece. Sam Clark did not allow a run and struck out six over three no-hit innings in relief to pick up the win. Harris finished 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI to lead the offense while Nate Brinza went 2-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Clark ended with two hits, two RBI and one run while Griffin Kierst finished 2-3 with two runs and drove a runner home. Aidan Kress followed with two hits, a run and a RBI while Owen Osborne added two hits and two runs. Chase Dermody tallied a hit. Hudson Lazenby struck out one, allowed two hits and two runs to pick up the win on the mound. For Honeoye Falls-Lima, Jack Farabell went 3-4 with three runs while Harrison Houle recorded a hit and drove three runners home. Cooper Warner went 2-3, drove three runners home and scored twice while Phillip Dotterweich collected a hit, four RBI and two runs. Oren Ray followed with a hit, two RBI and a run scored while Brady O’Brien and Luke Davis added with a hit and two runs. Davis struck out two, allowed one hit and two runs to pick up the save.
