A Mackenzie Whitehead two-run home run to left field highlighted a nine-run third inning to help Penfield win its second game in a row. Whitefield finished the day 2-for-3 with the homer, a double and two runs scored. Megan Clark also went a perfect 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBI and a run, Zoe VonDerLinn was 2-3 with a triple, an RBI and two runs, Ella Malley doubled, knocked in a pair of runs and scored once, Clare Magee hit a double, drove in a run and scored one, Stephanie Coughlin singled, walked twice and scored two runs, Addison Young drew a pair of walks and scored once, Alexi Cimino singled and scored. Allison Gardner walked and scored and Sophie Mathis drove in a run. Magee allowed two unearned runs on a walk and two hits in four innings, while Gardner surrendered two runs, one earned, on two walks in a frame. Magee struck out five and Gardner punched out one batter.

A Lilly Petitti single plated Allie Sherman and Hannah Kenney in the top of the fifth that gave Brockport a 13-6 lead and proved to be just enough offense for the Blue Devils to earn their first win. Petitti’s two-run single capped a seven-run final inning. She also walked and scored on the day. Audrina Piatt went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double, five RBI and three runs scored, Kenney was 2-4 with an RBI and a run, Hannah Carpenter finished 2-3 with a walk and three runs scored, Sherman went 2-3 with a run scored. Mariah Sagrafena tripled and scored. Stella Szabo doubled, knocked in three runs and scored once. Katherine Schleede walked and scored. Lia Starwald drew a walk and Olivia Zimmerman scored once. Carpenter got the win in the circle, striking out a batter and allowing 12 runs, nine earned, on 12 hits and two walks in five frames.

Fairport held a 6-5 lead through five innings, but a 10-run top of the sixth sent the Patriots to their first loss of the season. Julia Barry led the way for Fairport, going 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in the second inning, a two-run single in the fifth and a run scored. Annabella Clark and Julia Poligone both went 2-4, with Clark scoring once and Poligone knocking in a run and tripling. Olivia Caselli tripled and walked. Aliana Nunez doubled, walked and scored. Waverly Milliman had a hit, an RBI and a run. Lizzie Roessel singled and walked. Anna Colaluca recorded a hit. Lucy Greco tossed two scoreless innings with just two hits allowed.

Annabella Clark and Allison Runke both singled for Fairport’s only two hits of the game. The Red Raiders fell to 0-2 on the day with the loss after allowing 11 runs between the third and fourth innings.

Audrey Gleghorn scored the game-winning on a wild pitch with two outs in the bottom of the sixth to help Rush-Henrietta walk off Lake Braddock for a bounce-back win. Audrey Gleghorn grounded into a fielder’s choice for the second out, stole second base on the first pitch of the next at bat, swiped third two pitches later and scored after an errant pitch that would’ve made it a 2-2 count. Elizabeth Brown went 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Royal Comets. Elizabeth Gleghorn was 2-3. Lizzie Rinella walked twice and scored once. Kadyn Hartel scored a run. Jade Galaska and Kaylee Hartman each singled and Katie Millitello drew a walk. Hartel tossed all six frames for Rush-Henrietta, striking out nine while allowing three runs on four hits and a walk.

Molly Sweeney went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored as Webster Thomas scored four runs in both the second and fifth innings to pull out its second win in a row. Rachel Wlodarczyk was 2-3 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored. Olivia Constantino singled twice, drove in two runs and scored once. Olivia Bowers was 2-4 with an RBI and a run. Ruby Marrapese singled, walked, drove in a run and scored twice. Emma Maloney singled, drove in a run and scored twice. Emily Ford and Ella Griffin both singled, drove in a run and scored once. Madeline Getman went 4.1 shutout innings for the Titans, giving up just two hits.

Naomi Rosario tossed a five-inning no-hitter for Hilton, striking out seven. Rosario also knocked in two runs at the dish. Maddie Murphy scored four times and recorded two hits, Paige Siciliano notched three RBI and three runs and Julia Saporito had three runs scored.

Gabrielle Lyons and Caralynn Orlando each went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double and plated five runs for Pittsford Sutherland in its season opener. Lyons scored three runs and Orlando touched home twice. Hannah Glanton was 2-2 with a triple, double, two walks and three runs scored. Julia Devaney finished 2-2 with a walk, RBI and run. Alexandra Sippel went 2-4 with an RBI. Mandy Meyers doubled, walked, knocked in a run and scored three times. Ella Devaney doubled and drove in a run. Katie Sarr walked and scored twice and Olivia Vorassi walked and scored. Julia Devaney allowed two runs, three hits and three walks with three strikeouts in four innings of work.

Jalissa Crittendon threw a complete game for Eastridge’s first win, allowing a run on three hits with seven strikeouts. Emma Johnson doubled, walked twice and drove in a run for the Lancers, Marley Siembor singled and knocked in two runs and Josslyn Siembor walked twice, scored twice and stole four bases. Bailey DiGiacomo went all six innings for Churchville-Chili, giving up five runs on three hits while striking out 11. Kenadi Heeg, Gianna Pozzuolo and Jordan Sassone recorded a hit each for the Saints.

Shannon O’Hora finished 3-for-3 including an RBI single in the fifth inning when Brighton scored three runs to take a 4-3 lead. O’Hora later crossed home with her second run of the game. Madison Marchiole singled and drove in two runs. Luci Rozzi was 1-3 with a run scored. Gabriella Glanville accounted for an RBI. Katelyn O’Hora was 1-2.

Kate Abbamonte scored on a first-and-third play in the top of the eighth, but Toledo Catholic plated two in the bottom half to steal the win from Our Lady of Mercy. The Monarchs trailed 8-4 through five innings, then scored five unanswered to take a 9-8 lead heading to the bottom of the seventh. Annika VanDamme went 3-for-4 with a triple, double, walk, three RBI and a run scored. Brenna Ray was a perfect 4-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run. Natalie Casale singled, walked twice, knocked in a run and scored three times. Alannah Riley singled and drove in a run. Abbamonte walked and scored twice. Maddie Oleksyn drew two walks and scored once while Lillian Seiffert touched home once.

Brenna Ray singled home Rowan Hennessy in the bottom of the seventh to cap off a five-run frame and complete a comeback. Annika VanDamme singled in Natalie Casale to start the rally, Maddie Oleksyn hit a three-run home run and Ray finished the game off with a single to the second baseman. VanDamme went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs. Oleksyn was 2-3 with a home run, four RBI and a run. Casale finished 2-4 with a triple and four runs scored. Hennessy went 2-4 with a double and a run. Leah Sperry hit two singles and scored a run. Ray singled and knocked in a run and Alannah Riley singled. Sperry struck out nine batters over seven innings and just three of the eight runs she allowed were earned.

Natalie Adams tripled, knocked in a run and scored once in Wellsville’s low-scoring victory. Adams tripled, scored in the fifth and drove in a run in the second. Makenna Dunbar also tossed a complete-game shutout, giving up just two hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters in seven frames. Dunbar went 2-for-3 with an RBI at the dish. Emily Stuck doubled and scored. Ayla Faulkner singled and scored. Teagan Burke singled and walked. Lindsay Stuck and Averee Palmatier both drew a walk.

Kaitlyn Scheid and Myia Eskander each scored in the bottom of the fourth for Wayne’s only runs of the day. Savannah Celso doubled. Reese Sinclair and Zoe Eaton both singled and Scheid drew a walk for the Eagles.

Lilyin Mellick scored Wayland-Cohocton’s only run in the second inning after reaching on a single, the Eagles’ lone hit of the day. Mellick scored on an error by the Gilbert shortstop. Molly Robbins drew a pair of walks and Sasha Abramowski walked once for Wayland-Cohocton. Ava Senka tossed all six innings, giving up six hits and four walks for three runs, one earned, with four strikeouts.

Alexander kept it close through three — trailing 1-0 — before a six-run fourth blew the game open. Faith Goodenbury recorded two singles and drove in a run for the Trojans, Melanie Bump was 2-for-3 and scored once. Ella Kautz doubled and knocked in two runs. Ella Felski singled and scored. Morgan Boyce walked twice and scored a run. Ava Yax singled and Emily Pietrzykowski walked once.
